Last summer I managed to burn the soles of my feet horrifically due to falling asleep while sunbathing. The rest of my body was protected by a big umbrella but due to shuffling around in my sleep my feet were left exposed. Ever since then the skin on my feet and especially my heels has remained horribly hard and almost impossible to moisturise effectively. Avon recently had a buy 1 get 1 free offer on their Footworks Deep Moisturising Cream so I decided to give it a go. The Brand Most of you will have heard of Avon but for those of you that haven't it was set up back in 1886 when an American businessman decided to sell perfumes door to door. The ... I do quite a lot of walking and this leaves the skin on my feet a bit hard sometimes so I use this deep moisturising cream from Avons Foot Works collection every few nights before I go to bed and then put a pair of cotton socks over it to keep the cream in contact with my skin. It has got a proper nice smell that is mildly spicy and a bit like the mixed peel my mum puts into her fruit cake. It's lovely and the smell lasts for a bit longer than foot creams that just have a plain cream smell. It's a dead thick cream that doesn't absorb into the skin on my feet that well but I reckon that's good and that's why I put the socks on after. It's thick and ... Read the complete review

Any regular readers of my reviews will be aware by now that I work as an Avon Representative when my health issues allow. Because I am a Rep, it means that I have regular access to many different Avon products and of course many of those brilliant promotions and great deals that can regularly be found across the pages of the latest Avon brochure! There are several brands within Avon that I use regularly, some are of course better than others but one brand that I had never before tried was the 'Avon Foot works' range of toiletries. I have tried a few items from this range recently, and one such product is the 'Deep Moisturising Cream'. I was ... Read the complete review

I think this cream normally sells for around £3.50 but I was lucky enough to find a brand new, unopened & still sealed 75ml tube in one of our local charity shops for just 99p. My feet tend to be the only part of me which I really neglect as I normally just wash & dry them well & throw on a pair of cotton socks or mules & forget about them. Lately though I must admit I've been taking a bit more care of them partly due to the hot weather & partly due to illness. The packaging is as shown in the picture & it's a good size as not a lot of the product needs to be used per application. The top is a screw top which is easy enough ... Read the complete review

When my mom died last year she had a lot of toiletries in her cupboard and I ended up with most of them, as they were the same sort of things that I usually used. One item that I have recently started to use is Avon Footworks Moisture Cream. Being a diabetic I have to make sure that I take extra care of my feet as we can suffer from neuropathy, which is basically a loss of sensation in the feet. I regularly use cream on my feet to keep them soft and whilst I am applying the cream I can check for any problems. I have been using ordinary moisturising cream and even hand cream on occasions and have found both of these to be quite adequate for the job. ... Read the complete review
