Advantages: easy to apply, non-greasy, easily absorbed
Disadvantages: OK results but nothing spectacular
I think this cream normally sells for around £3.50 but I was lucky enough to find a brand new, unopened & still sealed 75ml tube in one of our local charity shops for just 99p.
My feet tend to be the only part of me which I really neglect as I normally just wash & dry them well & throw on a pair of cotton socks or mules & forget about them. Lately though I must admit I've been taking a bit more care of them partly due to the hot weather & partly due to illness.
The packaging is as shown in the picture & it's a good size as not a lot of the product needs to be used per application. The top is a screw top which is easy enough to open & close which ensures the lotion stays fresh. It has a little seal which obviously needs to be removed the first time you use it so you know it's not been tampered with.
The lotion itself is a fairly thick white creamy texture which absorbs well into the skin & doesn't need much rubbing in. The smell reminds me of dried mixed fruit - unlike any foot lotion I've smelt before - so can be used by men as well as women without giving that tell-tale sign of having applied the usual floral/ perfume fragrance.
I noticed that having used it only a couple of times that the skin on my feet felt much softer, it worked well on my cracked heels & they did seem more refreshed although I don't think the deodorising properties are as strong as other foot lotions.
I like the way it doesn't make the feet & toes feel too greasy & the way it absorbs into the skin so quickly.
The lotion doesn't clog up the hole as some do & because the tube is made of a good quality yet flexible plastic it means that you can get to the very last bit in the tube.
All the ingredients & directions for use are listed on the reverse of the tube although you may need a magnifying glass to read them as the print is so very small lol!
summary
~
- a simple yet fairly effective foot lotion - nothing exciting.
- non-greasy & absorbs well.
- smells nice & reasonably priced.
- would use again but not sure if I'd pay the full price?
Summary: worth a try if you find this on offer
