Advantages: helps to keep feet in good condition, good price when on offer

Disadvantages: is pricey when not on offer - but still worth it

I have been using Avon products for many years but only discovered the Footworks Heel Softening Cream just before Christmas last year when the product was on special offer at £1.25 a tube. The usual price for a 75ml tube is £3.50 and a 150ml is £4.50. Avon always have great multibuy offers on and currently the 75ml tube is 99p and 150ml tube is £2.70, so some great savings there.

The Heel Softening Cream is packaged in a white recyclable plastic tube. Because Avon are a multi-national company all of their products usually contain instructions written in many languages; English, France, Italian, Greek, Spanish, on the packaging.

The cream is a thick rich white formula, which smells vaguely of TCP! The pack instructions recommend to apply with fingertips and massage gently into the skin. I do this most days, just before I hop into bed. The cream soaks into the heel skin very quickly and leaves no sticky residue or film on the skin. The moment I have applied this cream my feet feel fresh and clean and soft. My feet are in really good condition and I attribute some of this to the regular use of this cream. A small tube usually lasts me between 4 and 5 weeks, which for the price when on special offer is a bargain. I think I would pay full price for a tube if I was running out and needed more, but I have been lucky so far and get a few tubes via my representative when they are on offer. I do use other Footworks products and can easily combine my regular favourites when they are on multibuy (like 3 for £5).

Also, my mum, who lives in France, does mobile manicure and pedicure treatments, amongst other things and uses a lot of Avon Footworks products and always gives her clients a treat with this cream.

I will definitely continue to buy this product, but of course it is much better when it is on offer!!
