Advantages: lovely soft feet
Disadvantages: can work out expensive if used all the time
If you have read any of my previous reviews on foot pampering products you will know know my feet pound a heck of a lot of pavement during the day and so need good quality products to restore my feet and toes back to their former glory.
I have tried just about every avon foot product as I was a rep for about a year, and as soon as these became available I bought some to try.
The product~
Pedi-peel pads are part of Avon's popular 'Footworks' range and can often be seen in nearly every brochure. They are small round circular pads that are soaked in a peeling formula (Glycolic acid) to re texturise the skin.
How to use~
Remove the lid and take out one of the pads, ensuring you replace the lid to avoid the product drying out. Slowly wipe over the underneath of your foot paying special attention to anywhere that has calluses and then repeat on the other foot. If my feet aren't too rough I use just one pad on both feet but it's best to use a seperate one.
Do they work?~
Well as soon as the product had dried I could tell a difference- my feet definitely felt smoother though it's a treatment you would have to perform several times if you have very rough skin.
I tend to use once a fortnight and alternate it with the pedi brasion scrub (see review) to keep my toes in tip top condition.
Are they worth it?~
They are a small round silvery looking tub and contain 65 pads and the normal price is about £4 (or they were last time I bought some so don't quote me!), but as with most Avon items are often on offer in varies price deals such as half price or 3 for £5.
Summary: Because you're worth it!
