Advantages: basic packaging & easy to use

Disadvantages: some of the products don't smell too good

To be honest I think it's my feet that let me down - I look at them sometimes & they don't look like they belong to me. Although I look after the rest of myself my feet get neglected & it isn't until they 'complain' that I actually sort the mout & give them a good old pampering.

Our 'Avon Lady' retired last year so I haven't felt the need to order from her catalogue & not being ecstatic over any of the Avon products I'd bought over the years I didn't bother to look online.

However, talk about 'being in the right place at the right time' - I was lucky enough to be browsing in one of our many charity shops when an assistant brought down a large number of brand new Footworks products for 60p each! Well, I just had to buy as many as I could carry didn't I?

The first thing I tried were the pads which did a grand job of exfoliating my feet making them feel soft & smooth giving me an 'even suface' to work on. They were easy to use & the tub contained plenty of round pads (rather like small make-up remover pads only perforated).

The next product I used was the 100ml tube of foot mask which I left on longer than the required time as I wanted it to go extra hard & hopefully penetrate a couple of extra layers of skin. This worked a treat & wasn't difficult to rinse off although I wasn't overly keen on the smell.

I then used the Citrus Mint Cooling Foot Lotion in a 100ml tube - once again I wasn't keen on the smell (strong cheap suntan lotion?) but my feet felt very refreshed & the cooling sensation lasted quite some time & there wasn't a greasy residue which you sometimes get from other products.

I've also used the foot cream for cracked heels & the white Footworks foot cream with good results.

I can't complain considering how little I paid but I'm not sure I'd be willing to part with over £3 per item? Although my feet do look & feel a great deal better, are less dry & feel happier, I have found better products with a much nicer smell & giving longer-lasting results. I'd recommend trying though if you see them on offer?

Summary: worth a try especially if you find it on offer, but not the best range around

I'm guilty of neglecting my feet especially during the winter months, It's only when the warm thick socks come off in the summer that I tend to give them any TLC :-)
