Advantages: smells lovely, quite inexpensive

Disadvantages: none

At the end of a busy and most often a frantic day the one thing I look forward to is my soak in the bath. Because I bathe everyday I don?t want my skin to get all wrinkly and prune like so I am always on the look out for that special product.

And I Have Found It !!!!

*****Avon Almond Foam Bath*****

I wanted something that would moisturise my skin and leave it soft and smooth and also something that smells lovely on me and also leave the bathroom smelling gorgeous as well. This certainly does all them things.

It comes from the Avon Natural range and at the moment you can get 3 (yes that?s 3) 250ml bottles for the bargain price of a fiver. You can also mix and match and get a body lotion, hand cream or shower gel if you wanted to but I bought the 3 foam baths so I don?t run out for a while.

On first looking at the bottle it doesn?t strike you as anything special. It?s the standard ?naturals? shape with a black cap with a flip top, the naturals logo and a vague picture of almonds in orange and brown. The colour of the foam bath is light creamy beige or is it more fashionable to call it light creamy taupe? Anyway it is nothing flash or special to look at so I can hide it away on the bathroom shelf without anybody else finding it.

It is when you open the lid that it?s true beauty comes out. It has an amazing smell of nuts and chocolate!!. It reminds me of that moment when you first take the lid off a box of Dairy Box and that chocolaty and nutty smell wafts up at you. The brochure describes it as ?deliciously fragrant with extracts of almond blossom and praline?. I?m actually sat here sniffing the bottle as I write this.

The bath foam is quite thick and creamy and only a small amount is needed to give you a bath full of bubbles. Not the light fluffy ones that vanish the moment you get in the bath but creamy ones that last throughout until you are ready to come out, which in my case means quite a long time.
Once I lock the door and have peace and quiet there?s no getting me to come out

The gorgeous smell doesn?t fade but seems to be even stronger when you are in the bath and the whole bathroom smells delicious. It is also very gentle and leaves my skin soft and smooth, even without the body lotion, which I shall be buying next time.

Overall if you are looking for something a bit different without a hefty price tag, that isn?t tested on animals and comes with a money back guarantee. And also feels good for your skin. Then catch that Avon rep next time she?s around and give it a try. Like me you could be hooked.
