Advantages: Reusable gloves which make your hands so soft!

Disadvantages: Scent stays on the gloves so need to wash them if combining hand creams.

I recieved the African Shea Butter gift set for Christmas. It consists of an orange cosmetics bag, a tube of African Shea Butter hand & cuticle cream and a pair of 'moisturising gloves.'
I am already a fan of Avon's footcreams along with their moisturising socks so I was looking forward to trying the gloves!

You get a 75ml tube of the hand cream inside the gift set, which if I am right in thinking is the full size. Avon's 'Planet Spa' range usually consists of products inspired by other countries. I know there has been Japanese, Moroccon, African and more in this range. I've used some of the products from this range before and they always smell really nice.

The 'moisturising gloves' are basically 2 plan white cotton gloves, but they serve their purpose well.

I always love to apply loads of lotion when using the gloves, as you don't have to worry about rubbing the lotion in for ages. I just squeeze plenty out of the tube and rub around my hands for a bit, then put on the gloves.
I then just potter about the house doing whatever I need to do. There isn't a set time for wearing these gloves, I find a couple of minutes is fine, it depends on how much lotion you have put on!
When you take off the gloves, the hand cream has sunk into your skin leaving it feeling lovely and soft. The scent is there too, and it remains on your hands for quite sometime!
If you are going to use the moisturising gloves with other scented hand creams then I would recommend washing them so you don't get the scents mixed up. They don't get very dirty, but they smell lovely!

All in all this is a very good gift set as even when the African Shea Butter hand cream has run out, you can use the gloves with other hand creams.
I' m not aware of how much it cost though, as it was a gift, but another review on here said £5.
