I usually use Avon Planet Spa Shea Butter body scrub but I bought this at the same time and have finally got around to trying it out. This differs somewhat to the body scrub (aside from the ingredients of rice and sake) as it is a 'body polisher' and body wash combined and is presumably not meant to exfoliate to quite the same standard as a result of this. ***The Product*** One of the first things that I noticed about the body polisher was a shimmery purple glow to the light brown colour of the body polisher. At first, I wasn't sure if this was something to do with the packaging but after tipping a bit into the lid I decided that it was actually the body ... Read the complete review

As I mentioned in a couple of previous reviews, I got a set of three Avon body scrubs for Christmas. I have already used the first two - crushed grape seed and brown sugar, and am now using the third one, Japanese Sake. My thoughts on the first two that they were pleasant and worked well, but there was nothing too special about either of them. This scrub comes in a clear plastic bottle with flip top lid and a subtle white circular design on the bottle. If you didn't look too close you probably wouldn't realise it's from a cheap brand as it manages to look like something you'd find in a spa. The colour of the scrub is amazing. Initially it just looks ... Read the complete review

The Planet Spa range has been out in Avon for the last couple of years. I like this range, as i'm not sure I would say they are spa products, but they seem a bit posher and maybe a bit more luxurious than the standard products. So what is Japanese Sake and Rice Regenerating Body Wash And Polisher? It's really just a shower gel with very fine grains in it that act as a scrub. This is not as abrasive as the usual scrubs out there. The bottle is just a standard bottle. It's see through plastic and you can see the light orangy gel through the bottle. It has a wrap round see through label with the product details on it. The lid is a flip plastic lid and ... Read the complete review

This stuff is absolutely fabulous. I used to swear by it as a body buffer and exfoliator. It has a lovely earthy scent which I can't put my finger on,but it's such a beautiful aroma. It's a creamy brown colour and comes in a very plain bottle. To use,I just rubbed it into my skin when it was wet (in circular motions for the best effect) This gets rid of all the dead, flakey skin and works on every single part of your body - it dosnt itch, scratch or hurt - it just gently exfoliates. Your skin is left so very soft, you'll barely believe it! And,the best thing about it is that it gives you this really ... Read the complete review
