I keep a selection of the Avon Senses shower gel range in the bathroom as I often stock up on them when they're on special offer, one I really like at the moment is the Lagoon variety which I think has such a refreshing scent that it feels almost Spring-like even though it's still very cold at the moment. The packaging is lovely, a vibrant aqua colour which immediately puts me in mind of the ocean. It looks exactly like the photograph above with dolphins swimming on the label, I think it's very calm looking and looks lovely in my bathroom with the rest of the Lagoon range. The shower gel has a flip top lid and I find the hole where you squeeze ... Read the complete review

I wrote a review the other day about the Avon senses range and how I like to use the Avon senses 'Lagoon' hand wash. I have also tried out some of the other items from the Avon senses range and I thought I would review some of them too. The 'lagoon' fragrance is what I usually choose for my Avon senses hand wash and because I like the fragrance of the liquid soap so much I thought I should give the matching 'lagoon' shower gel a try to see if it was as nice to use. When I bought the Avon 'lagoon' shower gel it was not on any special offer but I did not mind this too much because it was still a quite cheap price. The bottle costs £2 which is about ... I mostly leave the Avon reviews to the Mrs, but I'm in a reviewing mood tonight so I thought I'd share my tuppence on one of my favourite Avon products. This shower gel is called Lagoon and is from the Avon Senses range. The retail price is £2 for a regular bottle and £3 for a bonus sized bottle (500ml). The Mrs gets a discount on this which makes it even better value for us, but even at full price that's pretty great value for that amount of shower gel. You can get it on offer sometimes too. What I really like about the senses shower gels is that they're really, really thick. I only need a small blob to get a good lather going and I find that one small ... Read the complete review

This is my fave shower gel from the Senses range that Avon sell because it's dead fresh and not all flowery like most of the others. When it first come I thought it was going to have a bit of a masculine smell because of the bottle being blue and the design of it but it's not and I'd say it's one that men and women can use. It smells a bit like the seaside and I think it's such a lovely fresh smell and it helps make me feel cleaner after my shower. It lathers up quite good in the shower but it's not one of them gels that will give you loads of thick bubbles because Avon shower gels aren't that luxurious but I think it's fine for everyday ... Avon sences lagoon shower gel is available in two different sizes, 250ml bottles usually sell for £2 and the 500ml sells for £3 but both can be found on offer very often. I brought the 500ml bottle as obviously this offers better value for money compared to the smaller bottle. The bottle itself is a nice tall bottle with a curved shape to it and a lovely picture of the sea on the front, it fits nicely in with the blue and green colour scheem in my bathroom and looks lovely on the bathroom shelf. The shower gel has a nice consistency to it, not too thick but not runny enough that it runs through your fingers, it goes onto my skin nicely ... Read the complete review
