Advantages: smell nice, cheap and lasts long.
Disadvantages: bit runny
Usually I only flick through the Avon brochure very quickly, I admit that a lot of the time I like looking at the pictures and thinking "god I wish I look like that!!" Although on this occassion there was actually a sale on and I simply couldn't be bothered to go up the road and get some more shower gel. Not when you could get a big bottle for a reasonable price delivered to your door.
It only cost me £1.50 and that was for 500ml, so I was glad I spotted it when I did. Prices can vary, at the moment I believe them to be £3 for the larger and £2 for the 250ml smaller version. I've noticed with Avon that sometimes when something's on sale, you might end up paying the full price if the people coming to your door are late collecting your order.
The fragrances you can choose from are Mystique, Sunset, Amazon, Oasis, Tropics, Reflection and Lagoon. Personally I prefer the Mystique one.
The actual shower gel comes in a clear bottle with a lid which is the same colour as the gel. Generally the colours seem to represent what the name of the product is called. Mystique is a dark pink, Lagoon is turquoise whilst Sunset is orange. That sort of thing.
The gel, although runny looks slightly sticky as well. If you were to tip the bottle from side to side you can see that it seems to be (for want of a better word) a bit gloopy! This isn't what it's like when you use it.
This does actually last quite a long time. It lathers up quickly so you don't really need that much unless you want lots and lots of bubbles. However it does come out of the bottle quite quickly so you have to be a bit careful that it doesn't spill everywhere.
The lid is a flip style one, although if your hands are wet it can be a bit difficult to get open due to how small the clasp is. The mystique one has a sweet fragrance to it, but it can be a bit overpowering if you use too much-a bit musky smelling. It can make your bathroom smell lovely afterwards though.
This is a cheap product for what you're getting. It works well and is able to moisturise your skin with a small amount so it lasts a while and doesn't leave a sticky feeling either. Something which I'd recommend you to keep an eye out for. Generally it is on sale with every new brochure you get.
