I tried this the other week when I bought a bottle on offer for 99p for 250ml instead of the normal £2 price. I do like the Senses range from Avon, but think some of the range don't smell that exciting, and dare I say it, a bit cheap. Considering that you can get a bottle of proper brand named Shower Gel thesedays for around the £1.30 mark, then this at full price is perhaps not that cheap.
I always think that the Senses packaging looks a bit cheap. it is a thick plastic see through bottle and you can see the deep Orange liquid through the bottle. There is a stick on label on the back to say how to use this product in a few different languages - Apply to wet skin and rinse off, am sure we can remember that! On the front there is a picture of a nice enough looking Sunset and there is a dusky scene on it as well. Looks nice enough, but again not that much colourings, and doesn't catch my eye that well. the gel has a flip top lid and easy enough to open, apart from the first time I opened this and found it a bit stiff.
Upon opening this you smell the deep hot sunshine scent. I wouldn't say this this is citrussy, and I find it hard t expalin the scent, it just smells like a kind of perfumed scent which is like a hot summer day scent - you know when you step outside and the sun is shining, the ground is hot and the skies are blue? Well this is that but all in a bottle.
Sounds good? It is, but I prefer more water scented Gels, and I like the Lagoon and the new waterbabes one better than this. Also I like the Tropics one, but this would make a change now and again, as I like to change sometimes.
You can also get this in a hand wash, but I would find this overpowering to use on my paws.
A nice Summer scent nonetheless, but perhaps a bit on the heavy side for some people.
