I recently decided to buy a good few shower gels from the Avon senses range basically due to them being only 99p each. I normally like a shower cream rather that a gel but decided to give them a go since I could buy them in bulk. The bottle is pretty standard it is clear and shows the light blue gel inside. The bottle contains 250ml and has a pretty picture of water on the front. The picture is rather enticing. The back of the bottle contains little information regarding the product but I suppose we don't need to know much more from a shower gel than lather and rinse. The waterbabe gel is described as being fresh and uplifting and I do ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of Avon Senses Shower Gel so when I saw their new summer range I bought a bottle of each to try. I've enjoyed using all of them, with Beach Party being my ultimate favourite - until now! This Water Babe Shower Gel is so freshly scented that it's a delight to use and completely appeals to ladies such as myself who enjoy a crisp, unadulterated scent as much, or perhaps more, than those shower gels which have been overloaded with fragrance. In the shower I was pleased with the amount of lather this produces when used with my sponge, there are neither too many nor too few bubbles to wash with and those I ended up with felt luxurious and ... Any regular readers of my reviews will be aware by now that I work as an Avon representative when my poor health allows, and have done so for a number of years now. I regularly look out for bargains and new products in the Avon brochure. One Avon range in particular that seems to have regular bargains within it is the 'Avon Senses' range, and therefore I am often able to afford to buy myself a little treat (or two!) from this range. The Senses range covers a variety of products such as liquid soap and shower gel. I like the fact that Avon have produced many of these shower gels with a liquid soap available to buy in the same scent, so that I can ... Read the complete review

A friend at work as started doing Avon so she duely gave me a catalogue and it was the shower gels that caught my eye. I found it hard to decide which ones to go for, as nowhere could I see in the brochure what the scent would be. Water babe was described as being fresh and uplifting so I thought I'd give that a go. It comes in a 250ml clear plastic bottle, which is recyclable. The lid is a pale blue plastic flip top, which I find, doesn't reclose very well. The contents of the gel are a clear blue colour and is quite thick in consistency. Looking at the ingredients I'm still none the wiser as to what 'flavour' it is. Ok it's ... Read the complete review

This is 1 of the 4 new Shower Gels launched a couple of books ago from Avon. So far it is only available in 250ml bottles, but has been on the special offer price of 99p. This is in the Senses range, which has other Shower Gels, Body Scrubs and Hand Wash. The packaging for this range doesn't look that fancy. Then again this product normally sells for £2, so I wouldn't expect anything that fancy. It is a see through plastic Bottle and you can see the Light Blue gel through the Bottle. There is a stick on label on the front which has the writing in white and a picture of some water. Looks very Ocean Like and kind of tranquil. On the back it has how to use this, ...
