Advantages: Skin feels smooth and lightly scented. Definately not greasy
Disadvantages: Seems to have been discontinued or changed
I am a big fan of the Avon skin so soft range and I have tried a lot of products available. I love the scent of both the soft and sensual which is very feminine and the soft and fresh which is has woody notes. I am a huge fan of the moisturising properties and therefore couldn't resist trying the fusion dual softening body oil.
The fusions oil comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pink spray top. It looks nice enough yet not too appealing. You can see the liquid through the bottle and it is clear with traces of oil running through. The whole point in this oil is to give it a good shake to fuse the liquid together to make cloudy oil which appears to me to be pinkish.
By the looks of this oil I really did expect it to be rather greasy but I know from using a few skin so soft products that when they appear greasy they generally go on very well. The spray mechanism works really well and dispenses a nice amount of the oil without applying to much. When the oil is applied it does feel a bit wet so it's beneficial to use your hands to rub the oil in.
The oil absorbs very well and leaves a nice silky sheen to the skin. My skin felt very smooth and really was stroke-ably softer even after the first use of this. The oil is light enough to use on a daily basis and works even better when applied to skin that is slightly still wet.
I opted for the soft and sensual oil and I really love the scent. It is very feminine yet subtle and even after applying in the morning the scent lingers on throughout the day. All of my friends either use this or the dry oil body spray and wouldn't use any other oil. Avon has definitely made another fab product to go with their skin so soft range.
I would definitely recommend this scent. It is sheer, subtle and moisturising I just really hope this will be available to buy in the Avon in future as I ordered a few bottles in bulk a few months ago when they had them on offer yet I have noticed they don't appear to be in the brochure lately. I queried this with my cousin who is an Avon representative and she told me that skin so soft had recently undergone a bit of a make- over and apparently the dry oil body spray works the same way and has all the benefits of fusion.
A 125ml bottle of this costs around £3.50 and I think this is really good value for money. I always buy a few in bulk when there are special offers available.
Summary: A lovely body oil
