After returning from my last holiday I was eager to try and maintain my golden brown tan for as long as possible, especially with the poor English weather it didn’t seem likely that I’d be topping it up anytime soon. I’ve always been a fan of self tan products as I believe them to be much safer than using sun beds and when I saw that Avon had a new product out and that it was also on offer I decided to take the plunge and try it out. Most of you will have heard of Avon before but for those of you that haven’t it was set up back in 1886 and is basically a catalogue and internet ordering company. Sadly Avon isn’t available to buy in any shops but they promise ... Read the complete review

I am quite a fan ov the Avon range and fancied a bit of a healthy glow last summer so thought id give their Satin Glow Airbrush Spray a go. It is available for two types of skin tones - medium and fair. Im blonde with fairly pale skin but thought id give the medium skin tone bottle a go. At £5.00 normal price for a 150ml bottle it is not overly cheap but compared to other branded fake tans I was quite impressed with the price. If you are watching the pennies at the moment it is probably best to wait until it becomes on offer which eventually it will. The packaging is a warm peachy coloured plastic bottle with a spray lid. The results are pretty ... Read the complete review

I have always been very pale skinned, and not really tanned very well when I go on holiday, however that changed when I started to use sunbeds and I found myself tanning a lot better when I go on holiday. Sun beds though as much as they maintain my tan, it gets a little bit expensive when you go on a couple of times a week and also its not the best thing for your skin and can be dangerous to you health. Over the years I have tried quite a few self tan products, some which I have liked, some that I haven't really been much for, so when I noticed in the Avon catalogue that they had bought out a self tan spray, I was quite excited to try it as I normally rate ... At a recent Avon party I could not even give this product away! I think its reputation preceeded it. This product claims to give a satin glow airbrush effect on the skin in a similar manner to the gradual tanning moisturisers that fill the shelves of Boots and Tesco every summer. This product is a spray though with the idea being that it makes for easier application. It is great for Avon too as they get to give you 100ml less than the moisturiser version of this product but for the same price of £5 (250ml moisturiser, 150ml spray). This product comes in a choice of two shades: Fair Skin Tones or Medium Skin Tones. I have tried both and had ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of using the build up tanning creams, so when i saw the in the Avon catalogue that there was a new airbrush tanning spray out i was desperate to give it a go!! Especially as it was on offer at only £3.00 i thought great. Reading the description it sounded really good and well worth its money. I chose the medium to dark as i am quite dark skinned. I was really excited for my next Avon to come as i could wait to try out the new spray tan i had bought. When it eventually came i was desperate to try it out. I went in the batch and exfoliated properly ready to apply my new tan. After starting to apply the tan i thought that the swell was ... Read the complete review
