Advantages: None
Disadvantages: It doesn't actually do anything!
At a recent Avon party I could not even give this product away! I think its reputation preceeded it.
This product claims to give a satin glow airbrush effect on the skin in a similar manner to the gradual tanning moisturisers that fill the shelves of Boots and Tesco every summer. This product is a spray though with the idea being that it makes for easier application. It is great for Avon too as they get to give you 100ml less than the moisturiser version of this product but for the same price of £5 (250ml moisturiser, 150ml spray).
This product comes in a choice of two shades: Fair Skin Tones or Medium Skin Tones. I have tried both and had absolutely no results from either. Even with continued use of this product for three weeks I have not seen more than a tiny glow that could well have been caused by the sun itself.
Application is fine, this product sprays on easily and covers a wide area. It is more of a shower than a light breeze unfortunately though so that means that although in theory I should only have to spray this on, I do also need to rub it in slightly to get an even application. Not that the application amounts to anything though!
I am afraid I just do not see any point in this product at all. It is overpriced, ineffective and a waste of everyone's time.
Summary: Not recommended at all.

- 02/12/08 That's a shame. I really like the moisutiser version and think it's really good, but thanks for the warning, I wont be trying this one now. |
