Advantages: smells nice, convenient
Disadvantages: drying to skin
Description
This is a dry oil body spray by Avon with 'Softness Delivery System' to leave skin felling soft and silky smooth. It is to be sprayed on after a bath or shower to lock the moisture into the skin.
Pros
- It has nice packaging. It's a light green bottle with a spray top. The top is easy to press down and it sprays out nice and evenly making it very easy to use.
- You don't need to use a lot, just 2 or 3 sprays is enough to cover half a leg (for me anyway) as once you spray it on you can smooth it over your skin with ease.
- It has a nice fresh, clean scent, which is not too strong.
- When first applied it does make the skin feel very smooth and silky.
Cons
- It feels really oily (as you would expect with it being an oil) and it doesn't sink into the skin like a lotion does, it just sits on top of the skin feeling oily for ages, meaning you can't dress straight away after applying it.
- It costs £5 for a 150ml bottle, which although you don't need to use much at a time still means that the bottle doesn't last long, and it does work out quite expensive.
- After using it a few times it started to dry out my skin and made it really itchy.
Summary
This was not a good purchase for me. I'm not sure if it was just that I had a sensitivity to the product, but my skin didn't react well to it and it dried it out rather than being moisturising, so it's definitely not something I'd use again, even though I found it much more convenient to use than a lotion.
Summary: A moisturising spray that made my skin dry and itchy
