The Promise made by Avon ******************************** Avon advertises this as a moisturizer that, unlike self tan, gradually builds up natural looking colour while being a skin softening and nourishing body lotion with natural light reflecting pigments to illuminate the skin. They also give a colour chart which shows some very impressing results as to which shade your skin might change within only 1,2 or 7 days of usage. Now that the holiday season is on they also promise that the product will help you to keep that holiday feeling, which means, that it makes your tan last for longer. To me it sounded fine, The only worry dates back to ... Read the complete review

About 4 months ago Avon introduced their newest product in their "Skin So Soft" range - Satin Glow Daily Body Moisturizer - to their representatives ( I am one ) and 3 weeks later it became available to all their customers. In short, this is one of those body lotions that seem to appear now everywhere, which contain a small amount of self tan that builds up gradually to give the user a light tan. It seemed to be the perfect timing with the endless rain we had back then and a winter that didn't seem to want to end - even if this is only a distant memory now that the heat is on. Well, after this long winter my skin tone resembled the ... Read the complete review

For most of my life I have had pale white skin, I have never had a tan, in the sun I burn and peel then back to my pale white skin, with a busy lifestyle with three kids etc, I dont have time to worry about my pale colored skin. However as the kids are a bit older now I have started to make more time for me, so I thought I would treat myself to a product in the Avon book called Skin so Soft, soft and glow moisturizer. According to the book this product will give you a gradual healthy looking tan. GREAT!! What is the product? This product is a moisturizer that can be used daily and through time it will build up a natural color on your skin, well it sounded ... Read the complete review

I used this product regularly last summer and was moderately pleased with the results. The product is designed to build up a gradual tan, while moisturising the skin, over a period of time. Ideally you should aim to use this on a daily basis for a few weeks prior to wanting your tan to be on display. So if you are intending on going on holiday, it is best to start using this every before you leave. That way you have a light tan built up before you hit the beach. The price of this product varies, though it is usually only a few pounds for a standard sized product. This is also available in little 30ml travel sizes which I think are a sweet idea. It is not ... I'm not usually one for getting a great tan throughout the summer, but with the weather we've been having, there has been no chance of even attempting to put a bit of colour on my body. In an attempt to rid my legs of their pale washed out look before I had to have them on show on holiday I bought the Skin So Soft Satin glow Firming Body moisturiser from Avon. It RRP's at £4.99 per 250ml bottle, however I managed to pick mine up when they had it on offer at half price. The product claims to build a slow gradual tan, as well as firming and tightening the skin with frequent applications. I usually start well with these products and then forget one day, ...
