I don't think you can go wrong with Avon products as they are ideal for everyday toiletries and they are also good value as they usually have a lot of special offers on. The recommended price for this is £5 but I have never paid this price and I have been buying this product for years. The last time I bought one it was on offer for £1.99 and I actually bought two as I had ran out completely. The bottle is 150ml and is a pretty pink colour with the usual ingredients and instructions on the bottle. It has a small cap which you remove to spray and it has a pump action which I find more often than not sprays on the first pump. The only time I have had to pump it several times is if I am holding the bottle at an angle if I am spraying my back or the back of my legs. I have never experienced the nozzle sticking or clogging up. I would describe the smell of this lotion as light and floral and when you first spray it, it does look a bit oily but it soon soaks into your skin. I will sometimes rub it in if I am putting my clothes on straight after but it really doesn't take too long if you just leave it. I would say that it does leave a slight sheen to your skin without looking greasy and the sheen and the smell lingers for some time which is nice and it gives you a bit of a glow. I will use the spray all over my body especially on my arms and legs and my skin does feel soft and moisturised afterwards. I will always take one of these bottles away on holiday as I find it is a very good aftersun moisturiser. I will usually use it after having a bath or shower when my skin is just dry or even a bit damp as I find that I get the best results this way. I find that by using it two or three times a week a bottle will usually last me about three months so it is very good value if you can get it for £1.99. It is quicker and easier to use than a jar of moisturiser and does give you good results. I love this spray and give it five out of five stars.
The older I have become the more dry my skin has become and although this current hot weather is welcomed by the majority of folk I'm afraid I wish it would end! I have been using a number of creams and lotions providing me with moisturisers but needed something I could apply which did not make my hands messy, would sink in quickly and could use 'on the go'. I cannot really afford to buy much from Avon (tending to rely on our local pound shops) but when I saw this dry oil as part of a 3 for 2 offer earlier this month I decided to give it a go. I'm pretty sure, bought as a single unit, it would have cost £6 but, as a part of the deal this dry oil worked out at about £2 for 150ml. I have been using it about 3 times a day for the past few weeks and am really pleased with the product. The Dooyoo picture says it all re: packaging being a quite stylish bottle with a pull off top which protects a well designed and easy to use spray. On the reverse I note that the product comes from Poland and there is a line of information (descriptive) in no less than 12 languages. There is also a long list of ingredients but the only one I recognise is agua so cannot comment on the benefits or drawbacks of using these on the skin but, quite frankly, I am too old to worry! The wondered what the spray was like never having come across dry oil before - it seemed incongruent to marry the two together - but it really works. When I first tried it I was disappointed as it looked like an oil and I thought it would just stay on the surface of my skin. But not to worry, in a moment or two it was absorbed and I was left with a softer skin plus a light sheen which made my arms and legs look much more healthy and far less dry. The bonus was the smell which is difficult to describe but I would say smells like alcohol when I first spray but a millisecond later turns to a lightly scented fresh and clean smell which is very pleasant. The effects of using the dry oil are good in that my skin looks and feels more moisturised and it lasts for a few hours. The spray action is good too meaning I can do hard-to-reach areas and, to date, it has not clogged nor refused to dispense the contents. For the above reasons I am awarding 5 stars because I am happy with this dry oil spray from Avon.
Recently I've been using a lot of good products, so expect loads of good reviews from me... This product is no exception! Price: £5.20 (but regularly on special offer) Size: 150ml Where can I buy this? From an Avon representative, if you have one, or from the website! Packaging: A nice simple bottle. It's pretty and feminine. It's not an amazingly beautiful bottle, but I wouldn't be ashamed of some one seeing this, it's cute! It has a spray top which is very useful - Makes it easier to apply it to your skin and it's less messy that having an open top bottle where the oil would most likely pour everywhere. The bottle does get slippery though when you use it, as it would when you're rubbing oil onto your skin. How do I use it? After a shower, I pat myself dry, but so that there is still some water on my skin. I then work around my body, spraying a few pumps of the oil onto a particular part, and then massaging it in. It takes a couple of minutes to apply the oil to my full body. I have never used this at any time other than after a shower, so I can't say how well it would work on dry skin. What is the product like: The oil is amazing! It's got such a beautiful scent, just so subtle and elegant. It stays on your skin, but you wouldn't realise unless you actually sniffed your skin, rather than being a scent that just over powers tou! I love it! And the actual oil, it's a pretty liquid oil (it's very thin), which I like because it's easier to rub into your skin and absorbs very well. It absorbs within a couple of minutes after applying, so you don't have to wait ages before you can put your clothes on. I do have to say that I use quite a lot of this - That might be because I have dry skin, or because I just like applying extra. My bottle usually lasts about 6-8 weeks. Does it work? Yes, it does. It keeps your skin moisturised and soft all day. And after continuous use you will notice an improvement in your skin. I've been using the oil for about 6 months now, and at first would use this every day. Now I find that my skin isn't so dry and only need to use it twice a week. Would I repurchase? I am constantly buying this stuff. I must be on my 8th bottle now, or something. I don't ever purchase this at full price though - £5.20 seems kinda pricey, when I could just use any other oil to have the same effect (even though it would probably not smell as nice)! There's always offers though, so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone, especially if you have dry skin.
I don't use many Avon products as there is very little I like by them. I have tried lots of Avon products in the past and only a couple things I actually go back to and continue to use. A lot of the time I have been let down by Avon products as they don't do what Avon claims they do. This is why when a friend I work with recommended I try Avon's Skin so Soft dry oil body spray, I didn't get too hyped up about it. She originally recommended it to me as I said I didn't have time to apply any fake tan after work and I was going out that night, I wish I had applied some earlier, but forgot. She suggested I use a dry oil body spray, and more specifically Avon's, as this is what she uses, and just spray some all over me and it will leave a nice glow. I wasn't going to buy it for that reason as it isn't actually a fake tanning product and so it wasn't what I wanted. However a couple of weeks later my friend bought four bottles from somebody who does the Avon at work and gave me a bottle, telling me to try it. She had two different scents, one being original and the other is this soft & sensual one. I only smelt the soft & sensual one so I am not sure what the original is like, but I loved this one! She sprayed one squirt onto my arm and I rubbed it in. She was right, it did leave my skin glowing, but it wouldn't make my skin appear any more tanned. I thought If I had already applied fake tan then used this dry oil spray on top it would be even better, especially for a night out! The scent is quite a floral and a very feminine one, and is very strong. Just after that one squirt I kept getting whiffs of it when my moving my arm all night. Therefore if you don't like very feminine and floral scents then I don't recommend the soft & sensual one and the original one instead, as I am guessing it won't be as strong as this. Avon states this product locks in moisture after a bath or shower, is non-greasy and quickly absorbs into skin. For once Avon's claim is right and it does do exactly this. It doesn't look or feel greasy and just gives a nice subtle glow to your skin, but its not over the top or greasy looking at all. It also leaves my skin feeling very soft after I have used this after a bath or shower. As this is a spray it is much quicker to apply than a normal moisturiser, so if you are in a hurry but still like to moisturise after a bath or shower, then this is a very good alternative to using a cream based moisturiser. As I have briefly mentioned already, I do also like to use this just before a night out to add a nice glow to my skin, but obviously do not use if you have just applied fake tan, as it will make that go blotchy, you will have to wait until the tan has completely dried on your skin. I have found that as this is a spray I am using the product up much quicker than my normal moisturisers. However, I don't use this everyday and still like to use my body shop body butters or soap & glory if I have time so I making it last a bit longer. If you would use this product everyday then I believe you will go through one at least every month. They can be cheap though if bought from the Avon when they are in a promotion. At the moment these are £2 each for 150ml, instead of its usual price of £5.20. I would never pay £5.20 for this and would wait for them to be in a promotion like they are now, and just stock up on them then. If you are using this product for the first time then I would recommend only applying a tiny bit to one part of your skin and seeing how your skin reacts to it first, as after looking at the reviews of this product on the Avon website, a lot of people seem to have had allergic reactions to it, but some of these people can still use the product, just the original one instead and not the soft & sensual.
This dry oil body spray is an absolute must have for me when it comes to keeping my skin feeling soft. I'm a huge fan of this spray. I first bought one of these sprays about a year or so ago. The reasons I bought it was because of advertising in the brochure and also because of recommendations from friends and family members. The spray is a best seller and according to the brochure "one is sold every minute". I know loads of people who have said this is a good spray and I've never heard anyone say anything bad about it, therefore I decided to give it a go myself. I was curious to know what all the fuss was about. The brochure claims that this spray "Locks in moisture. Non-greasy and easily absorbed". The best time to use this is after bathing or showering. One of my favourite things about this product is the smell. Its really hard to explain the fragrance. Its sort of light and not too overpowering, and it is just fresh somehow. Its not so strong that it gets in the way of your normal perfume though which is great. Its very subtle on the skin and you can only smell it if you smell your skin very closely, so I suppose you could call it an intimate fragrance. I just really do like the way this smells. This absorbs really quickly so another great advantage about this product for me is the fact you can just quickly spray it on and you don't have to wait for it to dry up like you do with some body lotions, also you don't have to rub it in like lotions so this is great if your a busy person and never get any time. After using this my skin always feels so soft and smooth. It is always moisturised and hydrated and so looks really healthy as well. Especially in the summer, when I am out in the sun and have used this, my skin looks much healthier than it does without this on it. The normal price for this in the brochure is £5.20 which I think is a bit pricey. However luckily it is normally on offer which means you can normally get it for about £3 which seems quite reasonable considering how well it works. Overall I would definitely recommend this spray, its one of my favourites and I always take it with me on holiday as its so much easier than a body lotion and the results are just as good if not better.
I love Avon, I love the Skin So Soft range and I think this dry oil body spray is my favourite product in the range! I'm always buying and receiving different body lotions as gifts, and I really like them. However when it comes to applying them after a bath or shower, I generally can't be bothered! There is never enough time for me after a bath or shower to start rubbing in body lotion all over my body - i'm usually running late for work or something! So for a long time, I just had to leave my skin and hope for the best. Then I started using this product, which is a dry oil spray designed to moisturise your skin in the same way a lotion woild. This product is a bit of a life-saver when it comes to moisturising my skin. You only have to spray it all over you and you don't need to rub it in or anything, so you just spritz yourself all over after a bath or shower and voilà, you get lovely moisturised and hydrated skin with no effort required .. it's brill! Even better, there is no oily residue. The smell is gorgeous and reminds me of baby powder - it's a very "girly" fragrance, that is even better if you layer it after using the Skin So Soft body wash. I really like this product and would definitely recommend it for winter legs!
A beautiful product to use all year round, this wont stain your clothes or sit on your skin. It gives your skin a lovely glow and looks great on a night out. Not to mention that gorgeous clean, feminine smell! You are able to layer your fragrances with this range from using the shower gel so you dont even have to wear perfume if you dont want to, as you will smell nice all day or night anyways with this product on. It does the trick to moisturise your skin even though it is a lightweight product. It definately goes a long way so at the bargain price you get it from avon you have months of moisture to look forward to. There is also anoter little secret to this range, if you buy the other scent, Mosquitos hate it, so pack a bottle for your hols and smell lovely at the same time!
