When you go into the B store in Poole, it's very small and quaint and looks like a very tidy Aladdin's cave! Filled with lotions and potions. You are literally like a child in a candy store, not knowing what to look at next. The gift boxes are on glass shelves at the back of the store and you will only see one of each, unlike Lush who stack their gift boxes everywhere! B's gifts look exquistely made, with pure precision, no errors being made. I was bought the Keep it Fluffy large gift box from a few friends at my yard where I keep my horses for my birthday. I received other things but this remained my highlight! Knowing me very well they knew what to get me straight away! However the Keep It Fluffy gift set has changed over the years, some products remain and some have been changed, this I only realised when I had been given this gift last year. Why I thought B would never change a product that has been around for years still boggles me?!

Keep it Fluffy Large Gift Box contains (new version):- Keep It Fluffy Fragrance Sample 1.75g, Soap 80g, Keep It Fluffy Body Lotion 40g, Turkish Bath 180g, Bubble Bar 100g

Old version contains:- Keep It Fluffy Atomiser Perfume, Bubble Bar, Kistya Toothpaste, Powder Puff, and Turkish Bath

Wrapped in a flimsy but beautiful gloss finished cardboard box decorated in a floral motif, the non-seasonal version of Keep It Fluffy's unimaginatively named Large Gift (you'd of thought they could of come up with something a bit more amusing) contains Keep it Fluffy's vanilla, rose, jasmine, and ylang ylang scented Perfume sample, Bubble Bar, Soap, Body Lotion and Turkish Bath , all full-sized products resting on a fluffy bed of shredded virgin white tissue.

The best product in this set is the actual perfume, which is one of B's longer lasting scents on the skin And another fabulous item is the Turkish Bath which, though merely a cleansing body mousse with a fancy name (and price tag to match - please see my full review on this beauty), does indeed delight the senses even if it's not quite as moisturising as B might lead you to believe.

One of the original disappointing products was the vanilla, rose, and peppermint Kistya Toothpaste, which requires quite a few compromises on tooth-brushing traditionalists' parts. Thank god this was quickly removed back in 2006, it was very very strange to use and leaving quite an unpleasant taste in the mouth. One of the current dissapointing products is the Bubble Bar, which has a habit of offering very few bubbles, the majority of which are light and unreasonably fleeting. I have actually done a full review on this as it looks amazingly pretty yet it can't pack a good punch and leaves you and your bath sorely dissapointed.

One of the best products which was removed from this wonderful set back in 2006 is the Powder Puff, a bundle of powder housed in muslin and then wrapped in tufted fuschia linen, allowing you to simply lift this precious silk flower topped parcel from your vanity and pat it directly onto your skin for a light, sweetly fragrant, silken finish. B then replaced the Atomiser Perfume (again another original) with a dinky 2g sample perfume. In these excellent products' place, they added a half sized jar of their skimpily scented, mildly moisturising Keep It Fluffy Body Lotion and their fast melting 60g Keep It Fluffy Soap.

Luckily, this plastic wrapped soap doesn't come with the filthy looking tin it's usually housed in when purchased on its own, but like the Body Lotion, it too offers a suitable amount of Keep It Fluffy fragrance for a limited time only. What a shame that B removed some of the best this gift had to offer, only to substitute it with mediocrity at best. Let us hope that this gift will return to its usual form once the holiday season has passed.

Keep It Fluffy Large Gift Box will cost £35.25 which I think in terms of the products contained therein I don't think it's too bad at all. It's a real shame B have tampered with the product and have substituted great items for more plain janes of the B world.
