At the end of my last review which was for Radox I gave mention to another bubble bath, the only one for me that can give Radox a run for its money and even surpass it. I was encouraged to try Badedas bath gelee after being impressed by an advert for it in a 70s magazine, which looked like a still from an old European film. 'Things happen after a Badedas bath'. I also saw what looked like a 'Badedas bath' in 'The Frightened Woman', a 1969 Italian film which features an incredible bathroom. I forget the reason, which spawned the occasion of my elder sister allowing me access to her ‘precious’ Badedas Original Rich Bath Gelee (Gelee = jelly)…? Maybe it was my birthday or something, I don’t know… but 20 years on the impression it left on me still remains, and has been my first choice whenever I need to feel pampered and soothed. Badedas Original Gelee I love baths, I like to spend ages soaking in fragrant hot water, ideally with a book, candles and a glass of wine. It is one of the simple pleasures in life that I never tire of. Now that the weather is getting colder and the nights are darker, this little luxury feels better than ever. This gives you a really luxurious feel when you use it. The packaging is dark green and gold and even by looking at it, it immediately makes you think of luxury, elegance and and relaxation. Very emotive colours and packaging! As soon as you open the lid of the bottle the most beautiful smell escapes, the smell does not diminish when you add the 'jelly' to your bath water, instead, the smell fills the bathroom, its gorgeous!!!
