Advantages: bubbles up nicely

Disadvantages: expensive and a bit sickly sweet

I got this bubble bar in the hat box I received as a gift from my husband. It smells like it looks - of parma violets. It reminds me of the sweets I had as a child and I always thought it was more suited to a fragrance product rather then something you can eat.

Violet is said to restore the bonds of freindship so its perfect as a gift if youve fallen out with your friends. Its packed full of essential oils like rose and jasmine and when it foams up into your bath it makes the water feel all soft and indulgent.

Its not the cheapest of bubble bars at around £3 a pop, and you cant really break this one up as its quite small.

I like the smell but even for me its a little to sickly sweet and that, combined with the price means I probably wont be buying it again for a while.
