Advantages: Smells flowerly without being overly so.

Disadvantages: Not very moisturising.

I recently received a Purple Haze giftbox from Lush and this was one of the contents. I didn't pick this box myself and so was a little worried about the scents - I have never really liked anything violet scented.I wasnted a bath though and didn't have anything else to use so I thought i'd use this one.
This bubble bar costs £2.35 and still looks like the picture above - purple and a near rectangular shape with a 'B' imprinted on the top of it.

For anyone who doesn't know, a bubble bar is a solid bar which crumbles easily. When you crumble it into running water it produces bubbles (lots and lots if you have soft water, not so many in hard water which is a shame!) and a lovely coloured water and scent.

While running my bath I started to crumble the bar in, my water turned a shade of lilac very quickly which then developed into a deeper shade of purple. The smell was different to what I had expected it to be, I had expected a very floral smell which was there but it was accompanied by a very sweet note aswell which definitely made the bath a little more pleasant for me! The bath made me feel really relaxed as it has Jasmine and Ylang Ylang in it.

This is one of the only bubble bars that I feel impressed with in regards to the scent lingering on your skin. More often than not I can't smell anything an hour or two later, but with this I woke up the next morning and could still smell the scent on me - very impressed!

I think they could do something to make this bubble bar a little more skin softening as at the moment I don't find it great in that department. Something similar to Creamy Candy would be nice with the cocoa butter chunks.

Use this bubble bar if you want to smell great and feel relaxed (so it's perfect for a bath with your partner!) not if you want skin softening properties.

As with all Lush products, ingredients are one of the main reasons why people buy their products. To start with Bathos is vegan, so there's no reason to worry about that. These are some of the ingredients in this bubble bar: Violet Leaf Absolute, Rose Absolute, Jasmine Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Bergamot Oil and Clove Bud Oil. It also states there is glitter, however I really didn't see any during my bath! A full list of ingredients can be found on the Lush site.

Lush is available online, mail order and in the many shops they have!
Happy bathing!!

Summary: Great for a shared bath :)
