“ Brand: David Beckham / Type: Body Lotion „
I was given this as a set along with the perfume for 2010's Christmas by my mum. Upon opening I noticed the body lotion and my first thought was 'if i use it, and if I love it, I'll want to buy more and i just can't afford it' I gave into my thoughts and used it that same night after a shower, abandoning the shower set my dad bought me.
As i suffer from dry skin and sensitivity a lot especially on my legs, I hesitantly used the lotion instead of the usual baby oil, the cream has an amazing texture and feel to it and rubs in to the skin without a problem even when the skin is slightly damp. I used small amounts to cover myself in it and found that it spread about so well I barely used any!
The triangular design of the lotion is a very common one that most body lotions have, but most body lotions I have tried in this design leak after a few uses, but this doesn't! I only use the lotion on special occasions as I don't really like having to keep buying expensive lotions when there are just as good ones in Pound land. But there was something different about this one that made me say to myself - 'this one is worth buying at a high price'
It worked into my skin keeping it hydrated, moisturized, sexily silky and lightly perfumed. For a perfumed body lotion working like that on my skin I felt like I had been given a miracle. It features a small opening where the cream comes out so it does not get used in great big blobs and half is thrown away - so you can use it sparingly.
even though it does not say about sensitive skin, it is best for that.
I was given a gift set of this and the perfume for valentines day this year and I LOVE the perfume but this is a bit of a let down!
I tend to find that products that come in perfume gift sets usually are a bit of a let down, they never live up to the scent of the perfume. This body lotion smells of cream not really of anything else at all! Once on you would never even guess it was meant to smell like the perfume at all! It just smells sort of powdery!
This is sold for £12.50 for a 200ml tube of it and to me it is a complete waste of that sort of money!
Usually using a body lotion and perfume of the same scent is beneficial because it makes the scent last longer and be more intense but as this doesn't lend anything to this there is no point in using it really is there.
As a body lotion it isn't bad, wouldn't be much use for dry skin but for anyone with normal skin it is fine.
Nothing exciting really to say about this!
