Onne of my most sensitive areas from a vain point of view is my teeth. A few years ago I had acquired some very nasty staining and made it my will to get rid of them without the use of a dentist (not good advice I know, Ijust hate dentists). Thus I bought a top of the range electric toothbrush and my love affair with teeth hygeine began.

The toothbrush did the work, but the gems come from the toothpaste and I often flit between brands and find I am a sucker for gimmicks and marketing in this arena. Thus when i came across Beverly Hills Formula in a strangely clinical box boasting of being able to rebuild tooth enamel, strengthen teeth and gums, kill bacteria and yes, whiten like you've never seen before, I grabbed it there and then.

Does it do all these things? Well I am no dentist but I do know how it compares to other pastes I have used and unfortunately it doesn't rate highly. For the huge price of £3.99 for a 125ml tube (yes, I think I got ripped off) I was expecting so much more. My teeth don't appear whiter, and if anything my gums are hurting slightly. it could be a number of reasons I'm sure but I do not get the refreshing clean feel I get from, say, Colgate or MacCleans. Highly disappointed and wont buy again.

Summary: Promised so much yet my teeth do not feel cleaner or look whiter
