 ... Bic had made a further effort to encroach on the shaving market. The 3 blades claim to offer a closer and more comfortable shave which is the same as many other razors. I can;t say upon using it that it felt any better but it delivered a close enough shave without causing a major bleed which is the most you can ask from a bic. I paid £2 for 4 while they were on offer and at that price they are chaeper than razor blades but really if the budget allows then stick to the mainstream brands....more

Standing in the shop face to face with a bic razor I had to wonder what I was doing as my hand reached out and carried one towards my shopping basket. Brief flashbacks of sore necks and life threatening cuts echoed in the halls of my mind. Bic, as many men will testify has never really been up their with the big players in terms of shaving comfort. INTRODUCTION This is another chapter in my razor experimentation whilst being abroad and not having my usual razor available in the shops. This time, we look at the Bic Comfort 3 Pivot Sensitive. Bic is a brand I vaguely remember using in my adolesece, and my abiduing memory is blue razors that kept on nicking me. No wonder I haven't used them since. THE RAZOR The green Bic Comfort 3 Pivot Sensitive is not unlike the blue Gillette Blue II in appearance. The non sensitive version is in fact blue.
