Advantages: Nice bottle and nice smells and it does work!

Disadvantages: Stings my armpits

I don't know about you but I really love the sunshine and nice weather we're having at the moment! However I do worry about sweaty pits and the thought of stains on my clothes and stinking to high heaven really traumatises me so the other day whilst I was in Boots I decided to invest in a few antiperspirants just to stock up with! This cost me £2.49 but do look out for it on special offer and the only reason I bought this was cos a woman picked up a couple of products from this line and she spotted me looking and told me it's all she uses and she loves it and that sold the bottle I have in front of me to me as I do love a good recommendation after-all!

The Packaging...

Turquoise plastic, quite see-through long bottle with matching push button sprayer and an integrated domed shaped lid that fits neatly over that. In white writing on the front I'm told it's Bionsen Japanese spa Mineral 24hr Pump Spray Deodorant which is 'Dermoprotective' and gives 'Gentle, long-lasting freshness and is designed for sensitive skin and is Hypoallergenic clinically tested'. On the back of the bottle I'm told a bit about the product, warning and ingredients are listed, the size is stated (100ml) as is the recycle symbol shown, contact details for Bionsen are given and finally there is a bar-code on there. It's a simple looking bottle that looks like a product that is going to work so instills confidence and could appeal to men or women.

A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Bottle....

Bionsen Deodorant with Japanese Spa Mineral's gently deodorises even the most sensitive skin without preventing perspiration. It neutralises the bacteria responsible for bad odours, assuring a natural sensation of freshness that lasts all day.

Clinically Tested. Demonstrated hypoallergenic. Suitable for even the most sensitive skin. Tested in collaboration with the Clinic Of Dermatology at Siena University.
Aluminium free. Parabens free.

Using It...

Well using it is ever so easy. The bottle feels good to hold and use and the push button gives a hefty, wet spray of the deodorant and you literally only need one pump per armpit as there is more than enough product given out. As the bottle suggests, fragrance wise it is suitable for men and women. It's very fresh and light and smells 'Ocean fresh' to me and like fresh herbs and minerals. It's a nice blend and once it's on the armpits it dries in a minute or so (so don't dress immediately) and when it's dried it stays fragrant for a good few hours but also seems to hydrate the skin in a none greasy way.

The only problem I have with this is that when I first apply it, after shaving and sometimes not after shaving it does sting slightly for a few minutes. It isn't agony or anything like that, but it is slightly uncomfortable and the only positive to this is that it doesn't make the skin red and/or angry and the feeling does fade rather quickly.

Does It Work Though?....

Yes and for 24 hours or above and with ease. It works gently but effectively and keeps you armpits dry, soft, supple, smooth and fragrant for as long as it's on. It washes off easily as well and is all round good providing you can put up with temporarily burning skin! lol. Would I buy it again? Yes on the heavy duty sweat busting front no cos of the stinging though and having to wait for it to dry in!

Summary: If you stink this is really trustworthy product!
