Advantages: nice experience, good results
Disadvantages: none
I know about healthy eating, safe de-tox,the benefits of regular exercise etc etc - over the years I've watched so many programmes, read so many articles and books that I'm sure I could have written a guide to being slim myself!
Do I do everything I should ? - no!
Earlier this week I felt really fat around the middle and remembered I had some bodywrap sachets left....
I bought this pack about 2 years ago from QVC as I like their 30 day money back guarantee.
The product is called 'shapechangers' and I'm pretty sure I bought the pack for £18 plus £2.95 p&p.
When the plastic container arrived it contained 2 bandages - well sealed, a DVD and 10 sachets of detox clay - all you need for 10 bodywraps. The shelf-life is good as I used another one this week.
The fragrances include classic, chocolate, orange and rose.
The ingredients are listed on the reverse of each pack - very long so I'll just give you the gist - bentonite, tocopheryl acetate, aloe barbadensis... (see what I mean?!)
I didn't need to watch the DVD as the demo on QVC was so comprehensive.
Basically all you do is measure the area with tape measure
1. boil kettle
2. soak bandages in bowl & one sachet for about 30 mins
3.wrap bandages around required area (tum in my case!)
4. Cover with towel or punctured cling film
5. Leave for an hour
then remove bandages
there's a lovely soft feel to the skin & it smells lovely. No rinising or anything to do except measure yourself.
I lost 2" off the middle of my tum & 1" off the top - not bad in a hour eh?
They advise you drink water afterwards & this helps detox and inch loss over the next day or so.
It has stayed off for 4 days now so will prob use another 1 tomorrow to see if I can lose a bit more?
I looked totally stupid but who hey who cares??
MUCH cheaper & more private than a salon!
Summary: a good 'do it yourself' bodywrap
