It is winter again. You can tell.. the heating is on, the hot water bottle is out and my hands feel like pumice stones. I have lovely soft skin most of the time, never dry. Just recently though my hands seem to be getting dryer, and dare I say it.. a bit wrinkly! I remembered that I had a tube of cream in my drawer from last year so I thought I'd give it a go. *Application* The tube says to use only a very small amount. This is quite easy to get out since the hole in the lid is quite small. I use two 'blobs'. The instructions tell you to apply to the front and the backs of your hands and around your nails. Boots Expert Concentrated Hand and Nail Cream is a moisturising hand cream designed for very dry skin. The cream comes in very plain packaging, it is a small white tube which stands on its lid. On the tube is a picture of the two hands and the writing is in blue. The tube itself holds 50ml and costs £2.49 although they are doing a buy one get one half price offer on selected Boots Expert products at the time of writing. The product recommends it for hands that still get dry and cracked even when you use hand cream. I am not someone who usually remembers to apply hand cream regularly, however with all the cold weather we have been having, my hands are getting horribly dry, so I've been applying it quite often lately. This particular hand cream is one I received free in a gift set when purchasing a couple of other items from the Boots Expert range a while ago. ~Packaging~ The cream comes in a small, rather plain tube with the Boots Expert logo in metallic dark blue, the product name in a lighter blue and a picture of two hands.
