I have dark brown hair and I am ashamed to say that I have always secretly envied those who have fair hair. You know the ones I am talking about - those who are fortunate to be able to go a whole fortnight without having to shave their legs or armpits because the hair is less noticeable and once they shave they don't get the dreaded 5 o'clock shadow! But for me, I need a little help in this department from bleaching creams to bleach the hair on my top lip which is not particularly dark, however when I wear make up it seems more noticeable (well to me anyway!). Luckily I have never resorted to waxing, shaving or using depilatory creams to remove the hair ... Read the complete review

Having Mediterranean genes, I've been needing to bleach my tache pretty much since I hit puberty, i.e. about 13 or so (schoolkids can be so cruel!). I'd always seen my mum doing hers at home with the Boots brand creams, but being stubborn I wanted to do mine with Jolen, the brand all the teen magazines were recommending. To my surprise, when the Jolen ran out and I was forced to use some of my mum's hair lightener, it actually stayed on my face for a start, and was far less itchy/painful to use. I'm now 25, and I've been using it ever since, about once a fortnight. The product comes in two sizes - 50ml and 100ml, and there are two tubes of cream inside each ... Read the complete review

I have been using Boots expert hair lightener for about a decade now. I have used other makes but I find this by far the easiest to use with the best results in the least time. The box changed recently but the product is as great as ever. OK, so I ummed and aahed about writing my review on this product - I mean, for a decade now its been a little secret in the back of my bathroom cabinet ! Did I really want to let the cat out of the bag ? admit that I have a little tash ?! Well being of Mediterranean decent unfortunately Ive been blessed with dark body hair and envy those fair skinned, fair haired girls who have one less job to do fortnightly! Mind you then I ... Ok so this isn't a conventional review on this great little product, so if you are bleaching the hair on your top lip and thinking of using this then stop reading now! I've never used this cream for it's conventional use as I'd rather just have no mousdtache at all thank you very much. However I have used this product a lot in the past year and a half...why? you ask well... about a year and a half ago I dyed my hair green (yes, on purpose) a lovely directions apple green however i felt a little unmatched as my eyebrows obviously are big thick and black. So I started using this cream to bleach them before applying directions dye to colour them. Now ... Read the complete review
