I read about these waxing strips in a sunday magazine and thought i'd give them a try because i was fed up of the morning de fuzzing with a razor. The article in the paper made them sound easy to use and they were relatively cheap (£5.31) and i was excited at the prospect of being fuzz free for up to 4 weeks with the also promised "weaker hair growth".

The stress began with having to grow my leg hair 4mm. There are 18 waxing strips in a pack each with two sides - therefore 36 when opened. Firstly you warm the waxing strips between the palms of your hands and when warm enough separate the two strips and place on the skin. I thought I was brave and yanked off the first waxing strip as fast as i could. It hurt like hell and it did not remove all of the hairs. There were a few left behind. I thought I would try it again but try and rip it off faster. Again, odd hairs remained. I then noticed that my skin under the first waxing strip removal was raised and blotchy.

I found that the difficulty was trying to rip the strips off fast whilst being in extreme pain! I haven't used them since and it was a total waste of money for me.

The problem lies in the strips themselves being quite small and it would take a long time to wax two complete legs as well as extremely painful.

I found it very difficult to pull them off quickly and efficiently when in so much pain.

They may work for some people but I definitely will not be using them again and the Expert Bikini waxing kit i bought along with it has never been opened.
