Advantages: I got it half price, Gorgeous Colour, Great smell

Disadvantages: Makes me want a holiday, Bit pricey at full cost

If you have read some of my reviews, you should know I'm a Bubble Bath, Shower Gel kinda gal. I can't get enough of them. I must have two large drawers full and still continue to buy them. The latest to my collection is a lovely Turquoise Sea Coloured Kyusu from Boots the Chemist. I do surveys quite a lot and get Boots vouchers in return. I was itching to spend them, so off I went to Harrogate to see what I could buy.

I have tried some products from the Kyusu range before, and thought they were lovely and quite special. This time I noticed a bargain Body Wash reduced from £4.00 to £2.00. I bought that alongside the Bubblebath in the same flavour. The gorgeous Turquoise colour really stands out, it reminds of the sea I saw in Rhodes, all clear and blue. It seems such a shame to have to use it as it really is a magical colour.

The plastic bottle has the usual flip lid, which is easy to flip. It has the non drip bit in it which if left open, doesn't allow the Body Wash to drip. It has a silver button at the top which I don't know for what purpose. If anyone knows please let me know. The words Kyusu are emblazened on in silver writing, to make it look classy. The words Essence Body Wash, an expression of who you are are also written on the front. The size is 200 ml.

Since I've bought it I can't stop sniffing it, I've only used a little bit as I want to use it on my Sept hols. If you have ever sniffed Boots Spa range, it reminds me a bit of this. It's a sweet smell, and lightly perfumed, absolutely gorgeous. I noticed on the back the ingredients listed are French lavender and Sicilian Lemon. Can't say I could smell lavender, which I'm glad as I really don't like Lavender. Not sure what the French Lavender smells like though. Maybe theres a hint of Lemon. Also included is Blue Violet and Peppermint. To be honest, I wouldn't have guessed at any of the ingredients, all I know is it smells divine.
>The Lavender and Lemon is in there to stimulate and refresh, the Blue Violet is to soften and moisturise the skin and the Peppermint is to leave you feeling cleansed, toned and cooled.

As I mentioned I have only used a little bit, and to make it last longer, out comes my faithful scrunchie bathtime mate. I always use one of these, as they are dual action, great for making body washes foam up and last longer, and to get rid of dead skin too.
Kyusu foams up nicely when added to a scrunchie. I find just blobbing the gel on my body without one, just slides off and fades away very quickly. If I had paid £4.00 I would have wanted my moneys worth, but still £2.00 wasn't exactly dirt cheap. I have dry skin and sometimes sensitive on my body, but I found this to be gentle and didn't irritate. It washed off nicely and left me feeling refreshed. Even my husband commented on how nice the fragrance was, we could even smell it long after I had a bath. My body smelt nice too, even when I got into bed, I could smell the perfumed smell. I went to bed visualising the Blue Seas of Rhodes.

I would buy it again, maybe when it's on offer again, or when it's my Birthday, I could always ask my parents for a nice gift set.
I know it comes in other flavours, I've seen Yellows, Oranges, Purples etc. So when I've tried some more, I'll let you know.

I'm addicted to shower gels too and at the moment refuse to buy any till I've used up what I've already got! Original Source will be out of business by Christmas... lol Great op. :o)

It was all the freebies that got me hooked on shower gels :-))
