Boots warm wax is a good product to buy if you are trying to warm wax yourself at home for the first time. Warm wax certainly works bettwe than any wax strips as I have tried - wax strips are in my opinion no better than cellotaping your leg!!

The Boots pots are nicely and neatly packaged. They come with 10 cotton strips and a wooden applicator. You heat the Pot either in the microwave or in a saucepan. I have only tried the Microwave and this works very well - sometimes too well. you only need a few seconds - cedrtainly less than a minute and it is easy to get the wax too hot. If you do get too hot - let the mixture cool for anything up to half and hour before applying it.

The wax is easy to apply to your leg. you simply then cover with the cotton strip and pull it off as quickly as you can. Speed is the name of the game to avoid pain. It does still hurt but not as much as you might think.

The main advantage with the Boots brand is that it is over a £1.00 cheaper than any other type. I only wish they would offer the wax without the strips as well, as the strips are washed after use and have have not worn out by the time you finish the pot. I'm sure you could use them through 2 pots of wax at least!
