Advantages: Makesw skinn smooth
Disadvantages: ?
was given a pot of this boots body butter for Christmas.
I was given a 200ml pot of it, there is a 100ml pot also available .I did not pop into boots to see how much it cost but looked on line at http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?prod uctid=1070414 Where I see it costs £6 . So if I wish to buy a new one I do not have to go to the shops but could order it this way.
The body butter is in a clear plastic tub very strong; this has a black lid with the bergamot orange and olive label. There is a range of body butters featuring other fruits each has the same pot with a different label.
I twist open the black lid and inside I see a green cream this looks like a thick whipped cream, or like the whipped surface of a new pot of margarine .
It smells pleasant not flowery or particularly orangey but after I have it on my skin for a while it does remind me of walking through orange and olive groves in Greece.
I dip my finger in it and rub some on my skin the body butter does not feel greasy it is absorbed well. After putting this bream on my skin feels nice soft and smooth. My skin is on the greasy side of normal and this body butter soaks in well. The container does not suggest what sort of skin it is suitable for, but I believe I have heard it is suitable for most types
I went to the boots web page http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?prod uctid=1070414 to find out a little more and it tells me that the bergamot oranges that it uses are organic. I like the idea of supporting organic farming where I can.
There is information about the benefits of the ingredients used. The Bergamot oil uplifting, the orange oil refreshing and revitalising, the olive softening and calming. This sounds good perfect for treating myself to after a shower when I get home from a fraught day at work.
The label on the bottom of the pot suggests you keep it out of your eyes rinse with water if it gets in. Also keep it out of the reach of your children and no although it is called butter not to be eaten so no thinking of spreading it on bread.
.
I like this body butter. I may well buy some for myself when this is used. Thanks for reading. Mary
.
Summary: A body butter to nourish skin
