A fantastic product, earning top scores from me

A family friend bought me a selection of natural collection goodies for my birthday and when I opened them I was really pleased. I've always been into bath and shower goodies (although if I'm honest not so much body creams) and I never get round to visiting boots for 'me' goodies, just ones for the whole family. One of the many items she bought me from the collection was this, the mango and papaya body cream - like I say I'm not really that into smothering creams and lotions on all the time but I obviously tried it out.

I am now so glad she included it with the present. As soon as you take the top off, the smell just hits you, it smells absolutely gorgeous. The body cream she bought me didn't actually look like the picture given above - it's actually sold in a round tub of 250ml and not a bottle - it's about 10cm x 8cm x 8cm with the black and white natural collection label on. It has a layered effect of orange and white cream swirled in a pattern, making it look quite posh - the only thing was I didn't want to dip my fingers into it the first time I got around to using it - it just looked too pretty!

I use it after a shower most times now and for the first few times I used it, it was after showers using the shower gel from the same mango and papaya range. The smell must be fantastic because my husband stole a bit of this shower gel to use and commented on how nice it was, things like that usually bypass him completely!

I apply the cream mostly to my legs as they can get very dry and it has moisturised my legs very well and they don't seem to be half as rough to touch nowadays, like I say I don't even apply it after every shower just after most so this made me quite impressed. To apply, I find that you don't need much cream at all from the tub to cover quite a large area, just a very small scoop with my hand, and it rubs into the skin very easily. It does feel ever so slightly greasy, but I've found this with most of the cream products I've ever tried out.

The smell after using it is still divine and I find the smell lasts quite well - right through until mid afternoon I get a brief aroma of mango and papaya every now and again, I think the mango compliments the papaya very well. When applied, the smell isn't exceptionally strong, it's just the right amount.

The cream lasts a long time - I've been using it for just over 4 months now and it's still going although I'll be due to change it soon. The good thing about the tub is that it's see through, mainly to see the lovely swirling pattern of orange and white, but it's also easy to tell where you are up to with it. Obviously it's exclusive to Boots but can be bought on their website too, at the moment for £3.50 and is part of a 3 for 2 offer. To me, this is very good value - now I've seen that 3 for 2 offer, I'm thinking of nipping to boots today if I have time and treating myself to three items from the range!

It has to be kept well out of reach of children - it specifically says this on the tub. I can see that children may easily mistake it as being something that could be eaten, when obviously it shouldn't be and would be harmful. The bright colours would probably attract them straight to it too so mine is kept high up and well away from little hands and inquisitive minds.

I would highly recommend this cream, it's a gorgeous smelling product, that is easily applied and lasts a very long time, available at a good price too.

great body cream, would definitely recommend it to anyone

I've tried quite a few body creams, and this is one of the best. I went into boots a while ago, looking for some nice body cream, and bought this one along with a few others as there was a buy 3 for the price of 2 deal, and instantly fell in love with it.
It has two parts to it - an orange coloured jelly and a white creamy bit, that are both swirled around each other in separate layers. I find that the cream is much nicer on the more sensitive parts of the body as it isn't too overpowering and has more of a moisturising quality, whereas the jelly works well everywhere else as it has a much stronger smell that lasts for longer. It is nice to mix them together though, as it gives your body a really fresh feel, with a mix of the sensitive cream and the powerful jelly.
The smell is really nice too, as it makes you feel really clean and smooth. The fruits really allow you to feel refreshed and like you have just spent a day in the spa.
The price is pretty good too, not too expensive like other body creams of the same quality, seeing that it works much better than some of the leading brands that I have tried. If I had a choice, I would always choose this (or one of the other scents which I am slowly working my way through) because it really works!

good moisturiser for a reasonable price

Natural Collection Mango & Papaya Body Cream was a must for me to buy as I had mango & papaya shower gel. As the price wasn't very high and I trust Boots, I didn't hesitate long.

This body cream comes in a round transparent vessel with a black lid at the top (the picture above is not right). It is a two part cream - one part is orange and it looks (and feels) like jelly whereas the other part is white and creamy. I think it is quite fun when you blend it in as these two parts mix very easily.

It has a fairly strong and intense scent of mango and papaya which is a tiny little bit artificial. Also, it may trigger a headache (for example, that happens to my mom) if you are very sensitive but otherwise it should be fine. After a couple of hours you can still smell this body cream on your skin but it disappears fairly quickly from the bathroom.

It is a good moisturiser, if you use it regularly, your skin will become very soft and smooth. It simply does its job very well. However, I have a bad tendency to put a lot of cream. Normally it is not a problem with other body creams or lotions but this one seems to be quicky sticky if you apply too much so be careful.

One vessel of this body cream lasts a very reasonable amount of time (I had it for almost a month and I used it every single day) and the price isn't too high: £3.60 but it seems to me that it can be found on offer quite frequently.
