Buying beauty products is my little vice. I suppose that since I don't smoke and rarely drink, it's OK to have one. Or at least that's how I justify it to myself! One of the things I seemed to have amassed quite a lot of, is fake tans. I think the reason for this, is that I rarely find one that works, therefore keep on buying them in the hope I'll find one that works for me. The product I tend to use most is Sally Hansen Airbrush legs, which is a make-up for the legs rather than a tan, but as I'm whiter than a pint of semi-skimmed, it still gives me colour. I also quite like Rimmel Sunshimmer, but the problem I find with both of these products, is that they ... Read the complete review

I bought this tanning lotion a few months ago as it was on offer for under £5 in Boots and I had one of those £5 off No7 products....so in theory...FOR FREE! I have used a LOT of self tan lotions, from Piz Buin to Johnsons Holidays Skin. The bottle I have isn't like the piccy above but a nice curvy bottle like most No7 products come in now. I only use this product on my arms and legs as I have a specific self tan for my face so I use that. The product in the bottle is a dark brown colour, which was kind of unexpected since the lotion is fair/medium. It smells nice in the bottle but upon applying it to my body, rubbing it in and leaving it for a ... Read the complete review

Cons: No orange marks Recommend to potential buyers: yes Full review ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ladies, I have found yet another excellent self tanning lotion that you must try. There really is no excuse for white pasty skin any more! This self tan is from the No.7 range and it's priced at £9.50 for 200ml which I think is a reasonable price. It's a special fake tan because it is tinted so when you apply the fake tank you can see where you have applied it and where you have missed. It comes in a yellow box and it states that it contains jojoba extract, cocoa butter ... Read the complete review

I've been using a fake tan lotion from the Body Shop for a while, however they recently decided to discontinue it. I decided to try Boots No7 Tanning Lotion because I've used quite a few No7 products and been impressed with most of them. The product comes in a stand up bottle which is bronze in colour and has a pump dispenser, the pump dispenser is pearlescent. I'm not keen on things which have a pump dispenser as you always end up with a bit left in the bottom. The lotion is creamy in colour and as is typical of No7 products doesn't really have a smell to it. I always apply fake tan using a mitt, I got mine from the body shop, but they are widely ... Finally a self tan lotion that's easy to use and doesn't leave big orange marks! This self tan gives the nicest bronze colour to your skin wherever you apply it and No.7 give good, clear instructions on how to apply it, making it easy to use. The product works most effectively on well moisturised skin. I find the best moisturiser to use is good old E45 (I usually buy these two products together!) Give yourself a good amount of time to apply this product and to let it dry properly. I do feel that it takes longer to dry than the stated 10 minutes, however this may be affected by the amount of moisturiser you use prior to applying your self-tan. The ... Read the complete review
