I've been using a fake tan lotion from the Body Shop for a while, however they recently decided to discontinue it. I decided to try Boots No7 Tanning Lotion because I've used quite a few No7 products and been impressed with most of them.

The product comes in a stand up bottle which is bronze in colour and has a pump dispenser, the pump dispenser is pearlescent. I'm not keen on things which have a pump dispenser as you always end up with a bit left in the bottom.

The lotion is creamy in colour and as is typical of No7 products doesn't really have a smell to it. I always apply fake tan using a mitt, I got mine from the body shop, but they are widely available.

The product applied easily and within a few hours I was able to see the tan. I did feel that I had to apply it two or three times to get the colour I wanted, but I do this with every fake tan product I use. The finished tan was smoothly and evenly applied - I do think this is as much to do with using a mitt as the quality of the prduct itself. The colour was natural looking, sometimes the colour of fake tan is just a bit too orangey to look real

I noticed that usuallly when you use fake tan you smell of beer afterwards, although I did feel a it smelt a little bit, my office at work did'nt end up stinking of beer as it has been known to do when I've used other products!

I will be buying this product again, it costs about £11 full price, but I bought mine during the winter and No7 had all their sun related products half price.
