Advantages: Perfect consistency
Disadvantages: price?
This is a review of No7 Completely Quenched moisturising body lotion, a tube which I have been using on and off for the last three months. The tube is 200ml and was received as a gift from my Mum as she knows I love the No7 range. She asked the girl on the counter what was popular and apparently she recommended this product. I'm not sure I'd do that in case they try and sell you something they need to shift sales wise but perhaps that is just being cynical.
Price and size
The tube costs £10 for 200 ml but I would recommend buying in a three for two offer or using one of the frequent £5 off No7 vouchers that Boots often issue. Even better of course, get your points as well I always feel like I've got a bargain when I come out of Boots (even when I haven't) due to their points system.
Packaging
The packaging for this item is also really pretty, in a peach coloured tube with silver pattern detail it feels like a luxury item, which at £10, I suppose it is! The lid is a pearlised plastic cap that you squeeze the product through but it also screws off which I find helpful when you're getting to the end of the product.
In use
I like to use this on arms, legs, torso and it needs five minutes to sink in or it will go on your clothes. I usually use mine before bed so it has all night to do its magic! It leaves your skin so soft and silky and supple. A small amount goes a long way and is quickly absorbed in to the skin.
My thoughts
I love this product and am sad I am nearing the end of the tube. I would not pay £10 for it but I think all No7 products are now priced to take the voucher scheme in to account. It must work for Boots as they often repeat the deal. At £5 I think this is a fair price and the nice packaging makes it a nice gift too if you are looking for a small treat for a friend. I think the consistency of this moisturiser is lovely and light and although I like using body butters too I don't like to use them all the time so it's nice to use one that's a bit more runny but has great results on your skin too.
Final word
The tube has lasted longer than I thought it would, having been used a few times a week for around three months. I can't fault the product's performance and it is lightly fragranced but not overpowering. I would recommend to a friend and I would repurchase so am happy to give this five dooyoo stars.
Summary: A great moisturiser that I would recommend for your body
