While browsing around the fake tan or self tan as it seems to be called I came across a St Tropez white body mitt at £4.50 which looked a bit peculiar and a Soltan self tan mitt at £3.42 which I opted for. The Product The self tan mitt comes in a frosted plastic packet with a golden label on the front and back in the centre of...more

Premium Review Boots Soltan Self Tan Mitt: Avoid Orange Hands! (1025 words)

Now I have something to admit, something that you may already know if you've read certain previous reviews of mine... I'm a fake tan addict. I don't even care about admitting it and I'll quite openly tell people that I'm spending the evening tanning most Thursdays in preparation for the weekend. I think pretty much everyone looks better with a tan, myself included in that generalisation and as such I always try to keep a bit of a tan all year round if I can. A self tan mitt is a must have for faketan users.Ive been using them for years i cant live without mine. It looks expensive for what it is but well worth it. You wont have any orange palms with this as your hand is inside the mitt. I also use it for my makeup tan too instead of my hands,if your like me and cant reach your back people wouldnt do it for me because they were scared of geting tan all over them now i pass them the mitt and its easy done in a few minutes. You do need to give it a good wash after useing it a few times as it get matted with tan then i hang mine out to dry. It comes in once size and you just slide your hand in it.And put ...  Read the complete review

I have lots of beauty products in a box under my bed, and recently when I was about to fake tan my legs, I came across this Boots Soltan Self Tan Mitt, which I had forgotten all about. I believe I bought this when it was on special offer - I cant really remember now, but thought I would take the chance to use it. ~What is it?~ This is basically a mitten which you wear when applying fake tan. It has a smooth side, which is actually made from polyurethane foam, but has a quite velvety feel to it, and using this is supposed to help you apply a streak free tan, and has the bonus that it will not stain the palms of your hands. ~What I ...  Read the complete review
