As someone who spends a fair bit of time in sub-Saharan Africa, a decent Sun Lotion is a must. I'm also very fair skinned and the anti-malarial medication required in Africa has the rather unfortunate drawback of making your skin very sensitive to light. (I learnt the truth of this when sitting outside for a couple of hours, in the complete shade, without my shirt on and suffering the worst case of lightburn ever.) However, this stuff is a lifesaver. I bought this before i went on holiday recently as i saw a review in FHM saying it was pretty good and they were on offer in Boots on 3 for 2 so i thought it was a great opportunity to try them. There are a range of different SPFs and i went for 15 as i burn quite easily despite being dark haired with olive skin - i do tan eventually but i'm a bit naughty and don't always top up my cream throughout the day which is probably why i burn! Key factors for me are a cream that is quick and easy to use. Lasts all day and doesnt cost the earth. This soltan range from boots ticks all those boxes.
