Great protection from the sun, not so much from the insects! (Boots Soltan Sun Lotion With Insect Repellant)

Advantages: Easy to apply, long lasting

Disadvantages: Didn't protect me from bites at all!

I bought this for me and my partner recently before we went away to Egypt and i was attracted to it because it was a 2-in-1 product so to speak, saving me from buying a separate insect repellant. It did provide great protection for my skin and i didn't burn at all, and i probably only topped it up a couple of times throughout the day, however i wish i had bought a separate insect repellant as i was bitten numerous times by bugs and i also found that once i had quite a few bites the cream seemed to irritate and itchmy skin. Other than that one lotion lasted two of us for a whole week, it's not greasy on your skin which is nice and it doesn't have a strong smell at all making it a good choice for men. I have read a lot of good reviews in magazines and online so perhaps i'm just an exception and no one else was bitten but for me i was disappointed with the results of the insect repellant.

Summary: Great for sun protection but buy a separate insect repellant too
