For Christmas this year I was lucky enough to receive 2 x 50 ml bottles of body lotion as part of a gift set Boss Orange gift set which also contained a 50ml bottle of perfume which all came in a nice little evening bag with a compact mirror too.
The fragrances of the lotion is as follows:
Top notes: apple, bergamot and cinnamon
Middle notes: white peach, plum, orange flower
Base notes: Olive wood, sandal wood, vanilla
Unlike the picture above, the bottles that I received are more like a squeezy bottle which has a slight orange tint to it. It has a silver flip top lid and to the front there is the Boss Orange Logo written on bold orange letters.
The lotion is white with a hint of orange and is of quite a runny consistency so I do have to be quite careful when squeezing the tube to make sure too much doesn't come out. Having said that, it absorbs really easily and I find that I only need a small amount to cover a large area. Upon rubbing into my skin, just like the perfume, the fruit and floral elements are quite dominant but after a while, there is a nice subtle aroma of vanilla.
After applying, I can definitely tell a difference in the condition of my skin; it feels a lot softer and smoother and it also has that nice shiny (but not greasy or too shimmery you couldn't wear during the day) look to it. Because of its fruity fragrance, I tend to wear this in the warmer months as I find it quite a summer lotion.
Unlike the perfume, this is not as widely available to buy, I have never seen this available in shops, even larger department stores however you can buy online from specialist perfume shops and Amazon. A 200ml bottle retails for around £20. I always try to buy (or heavily hint) that when buying perfume, to always buy as part of a gift set as not only do I think there work out better value for money, but also I think that wearing body lotion at the same time as perfume makes the fragrance much stronger and it seems to last longer. Although the RRP of this particular set is £61, I do know that for the last two Christmas's it was one of Boots better than half price offers running up to Christmas so it worked out as an excellent bargain.
Also in the Orange fragrance, you can buy deodorant, shower gel, bath essence and a purse spray, all which retail for around £15 - £20. They all come in the same simple design as the body lotion.
Overall, I would recommend the product, it smells great, makes my skin look great and the moisturising properties are great. I would try to buy as a part of a gift set so that I can have the perfume too to compliment it and I would give 5 out of 5 stars.
Thanks for reading.
