Advantages: Pump action means it lasts ages, Smells gorgeous, Leaves your skin feeling silky, soft and moisturised
Disadvantages: More expensive than usual bath/shower products
If there has been one range of products which have truly impressed me of late then it has to be Boots Botanics. The range contains products which use plant extracts at the right levels to ensure significant health and beauty benefits. The botanics range uses the purest extracts of plants to get really great effects. The range seems to be extremely popular and ever growing. Now you can not only buy bath, shower and skin products, but also Botanics make-up. One product which has impressed me in particular is the Botanics Quenching Body Wash. The product costs around £4 and comes in a 250ml clear pump action bottle. This in itself was quite unusual for a shower/ bath product and I actually found it very easy and useful to use. People may view this as expensive for a shower product as such, however, because it comes in a pump action container the main benefit of this is that there is minimal wastage and one bottle lasts a long time. I have only just bought my second bottle and the other one had lasted me about 3 months. Which works out quite economical. The Quenching Body wash is a creamy/ apricot colour and extremely rich. It's aim is to use plant extracts to cleanse and hydrate the skin leaving it smooth and soft. It contains Mallow which hydrates the skin and meadowsweet extract to revitalise and rejuvenate. When you rub the cream on your skin in the shower it isn't the type of body wash to foam up, which I admit I usually like. However, instead it feels so soft and luxurious and just very nice against the skin! I rub it all over, from head to toe and then rinse off and my skin feels soft and smells wonderful. The smell is definitely one of the strongest benefits in my opinion as it lingers and after showering it seems to waft through my whole house. Even hours after showering my skin still feels soft and silky. There is a mallow scented body lotion though if you want to moisturise your skin even further. Th
e whole range of Botanics is wonderful and I keep trying more and more and fail to be disappointed. If this particular body wash doesn't appeal there are others such as the revitalising wash which are equally as good.
