Advantages: Lots of accessories

Disadvantages: Two prong european cable/needs adaptor/not supplied

I am an Epilator virgin, but as I'm getting older, I'm beginning to get the odd embarassing hair or two on my face and I don't want to shave my face like a man and plucking takes ages... so I decided to give this a try!

Owww, this hurts like I never believed and if its the best one yet, then I'm glad I never tried the others, so don't be fooled, epilation hurts and I think it always will, although I believe that after time you do get used to the sensation and it appears less painful.

Ok good points, the use in water is great! It is well known that water relaxes you and does reduce pain (as in why water births are supposed to be so enjoyable... if you can call labour enjoyable). So I firmly believe this is less painful because of the water, which soothes as you epilate.

The little light on the epilator shows any tiny hairs you may miss.

It takes about an hour to charge and lasts up to 40 minutes per charge.

It is sturdily built and feels very comfortable to hold and is asthetically pleasing!

It has an attachable shaver head (which is a bonus, as it didn't state it was a shaver as well), so you can shave instead, if the epilation is too much! It also has a trimmer attachment, so that if you have longer hairs you can trim them first to the optimum epilation length. And a couple of other attachments (I admit I haven't worked out what they are for and the instruction manual included isn't that clear)

The instruction manual has several languages and tells you the basics of its use, however I could have done with a few pictures... I'm not stupid, but being new to epilating, I wasn't exactly sure what the instructions referred to at some points.

Bad point is that the epilator charging cable is two pronged, which means you need an extra plug adaptor, which is not included, so if you don't have one, you have to buy one at extra expense, which when you consider that this epilator is £100 to start with, it is not very good, this should be included for the price!

The results are very pleasing, giving an ultra smooth feel to your skin and no other side effects, that you may get from shaving or waxing. So for the results and what you save over time it is well worth investing in if you can stand some intial pain.

Summary: Great piece of equipment if you can get the adaptor to use it
