Advantages: Can be used in privacy, reduces regrowth

Disadvantages: Pain

Basically I am a fan of this product, even though like all hair removal products it does have its drawbacks. In common with waxing, it aims to pull hair out by the root so that regrowth takes much longer to appear. It is easy to use: just plug in, set the tweezer grip for fine or thick hair, switch on and move the epilator across the skin. Now comes the drawback, which is of course that it hurts. But grit your teeth girls and persevere! It is worth it because after a few uses, the pain reduces to a minimum (honestly, it does). And I have found that not all of the hairs grow back, and those that do are much finer and easier to remove on the next occasion, hence less pain. It does work better if the hair is allowed to grow a little longer than the 0.5 mm suggested, and this is not so dreadful when there are less of the hairs in the first place. I also find that the procedure is more effective and less painful if carried out after a bath when the pores are open. The only problem I have had with after-effects is that there is sometimes reddening of the skin, but this soon disappears. The machine itself has one little drawback in that its cord sometimes becomes disconnected whilst manoeuvring it around the leg. I think it's well worth a try for anyone who is happy to endure a bit of pain in order to get good results, and prefers to endure it at home rather than in the salon. It is very reasonably priced at Argos.

thanx for this. You've inspired me to buy one. I hate the idea of being in pain in a salon with loades of overly-made up girls laughing at me.
