Normally I wouldn't be so hasty to review a product after only using it once but I was so wowed by this product that I just couldn't wait to tell everyone about it. Recently both myself and my daughter had conjunctivitis, which meant I was taking care of keeping both our eyes clean and also of administering eye drops. This meant I was washing my hands a crazy amount of times throughout the day. Really washing them too, determined to kill the germs. After just a day my hands were red raw, cracked and so sore they felt like they were going to split open if I clenched my hand. Normally I don't use hand cream. I don't like it. I am not going to even ... Read the complete review

Since reaching 'a certain age' I've become very self conscious about the state of my hands. I'd never bothered with taking too much care of them, apart from my nails. My face has been the recipient of all the many hundreds, probably thousands of pounds spent on creams. But not my hands. Hands, unfortunately, are one of the biggest giveaways of age. My own hands, while not too dried out and withered looking, were starting to show signs of ageing. The skin just wasn't smooth or supple looking any longer. As an aid to reversing this downward trend, I've begun using various hand creams as well as wearing the dreaded rubber gloves whenever I've needed to submerge ... Read the complete review

I have often admired the packaging of Burt's Bees products when I have seen them. The are not cheap products and therefore I have never purchased any of their range, even though I have been told that they are fabulous. You can imagine then how pleased I was to recieve a Burt's Bees Hand Repair kit for my birthday. The set contained several items all designed to help keep your hands healthy. The set contained a 2oz (57g) jar of Beeswax and Banana Hand Cream. Your Hands 'Our hands perform a variety of functions throughout our lives both physically and emotionally' This is very true, but many of us (me included) give ... Read the complete review

This is the second Burt's Bees product I have reviewed. The first (Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream) did not get a very good rate from me! But with this one, which came in the same gift set as the repair cream, I seem to have had more success. As I said in my other review, my hands are ruined from having two children, no dishwasher and cold weather - which means my hands are in and out of water all day long and exposed to the elements regularly. This has resulted in sore, cracked skin around my knuckles and fingers. My sister in law bought me a Burt's Bees gift set especially put together for hand repair (she knew I liked their products but refused ... Read the complete review

To be honest this hand cream looks and smells good enough to eat and was recommended by a friend, not to eat mind but that it was a good quality hand cream for under a tenner and always one to try out new cosmetics and having had positive experiences before from this range I thought I would give it a go. A bit like the Soap and Glory range there is a retro feel to the packaging, a sort of pst war design which is kind of cute looking. This product comes in a glass jar which holds 2 oz of the cream. The cream is a pale yellow colour and quite thick so do not go copping too much out of it as a little fgoes a long way, I find dipping two fingers in and scooping a ... Read the complete review
