Recently, I've been getting a lot of viruses and thought this was down to my not-so-regular hand washing. I bought this to use when on the go so I could wash my hands where ever I was. *Packaging* The hand gel comes in a small 50ml bottle. (My bottle of Carex Hand Gel looks different to the one on the picture). It's the perfect size to fit in my hand bag. There's a pull-off lid and a handy pump so its not a fuss to dispense the gel. On the front we are told the brand and what the product is. On the back there are the ingredients. *Using The Product* I like using this product because it smells nice. It has a scent of a lemon sweet and a cup ... Read the complete review

I love this stuff! I have a small bottle of it in my handbag at all times, which was just 99p from Asda! I used to work in a shop, and handling all that money, you noticed your hands got so dirty, and you never know who has had hold of the money before you, someone with flu or somthing equally as nasty. So I find my little bottle of carex fabulous! Just one squirt on your hands and rub it in and your free from nasty bacteria. Sounds funny, but this winter I would have normally been dying of a cold at least once, but since using this I have barely even had a sniffle!!! I really think its due to this that I haven't suffered from anything nasty this winter!! When your ... Read the complete review

- Product - Carex Antibacterial Moisturising Hand Gel Aloe Vera - What is it? - You put one or two squirts of the gel onto your hand, and rub your hands together, and instantly your hands are cleaned. The gel is instant drying, so after you hav rubbed your hands together, the gel disappears leaving your hands feeling smooth and refreshed as well as clean smelling. I bought this to take with me to Marrakech. We ate from the "open air restaurants" which to me and you were food stalls, we were given cutlery, but had read in the guide books that it is not cleaned, and more rinsed round in cold water ... Since having my first baby 14 weeks ago I have become more conscious about germs and cleanliness. Not that I wasn't clean before but then I only had me to worry about and not a small baby!! It was my mother that introduced me to Carex hand gel, it is a gel that you squirt onto your hands and rub it in, it claims to kill 99.9% of germs so is basically the same as washing your hands with soap and water. They have this antibacterial gel in hospitals now, usually on the end of each bed. I bought a 50ml bottle from Sainsburys for 99p, the bottle is small and clear and has a pump action top with a clear plastic lid. I chose the aloe vera hand gel, ... Read the complete review

I have tried a couple of these type of hand gels. One from Sanex and another was Nutrogena i think. I currently have this Carex one though it is in a see through bottle - i think it might be the one for senstive skin. It is a very hand travel size bottle and i keep one in my handbag and one in my car at all times. I intially started using antibacterial hand gel when i was working as a Speech therapist and it was very useful to be able to cleanse your hands between seeing one child and another without having to traipse around the school to the toilets to wash them. Since then i've always kept one in my handbag and have lost count of the number of ... Read the complete review
