I would recommend this product, especially if you have children and babies. I always keep a bottle of this in the pocket of my baby changing bag so it is always on hand when I am out and about to antibac my hands after I have changed a dirty bottom or before feeding my baby. It is also ideal for cleaning hands before eating when im on an outing with my kids and were having a picnic. It dries very quickly too without leaving any sticky residue on your hands which I have found when using other similar products to this. My hands feel very soft after use too. The only problem I have found with this product is that when ... Read the complete review

Well, if you are one of those people that constantly have a pack of wet wipes in your bag that are taking up room, then this is for you! I always seem to have anti-bac stuff in my bag like wet wipes and it was a couple of years ago that I found this stuff commonly known as 'hand gel' in Boots, which claimed to kill 99.9% of germs. I picked up a bottle and found out that I was going back getting more and more bottles and that wet wipes filling up my bag was a thing of the past! I use it all the time, whether you have a cold, washing hands before eating, after dealing with money touching animals/pets and of course - public toilets!!!! This will always have a ... Surely this product should be described as one of the 'must haves' for a bag in 2009. I am sure like many, are keen to keep well and keep the germs away, particularly with the approaching autumn and winter, I like to make sure that I do as much as possible to keep myself well. The Carex hand gel range is great and has been designed to be discreet and small enought to fit into a handbag. My favourite choice in their range is the aloe vera version, which I have ben using for some time now. I tend to use this gel when I have been using public transport, been in a busy supermarket or out playing sports with my friends in a park. It gives me the ... Read the complete review

A few months ago, at the start of the swine flu outbreak, my mum got a little nervous about me travelling on the tube every day and gave me a little bottle of Carex Aloe Vera Antibacterial Hand Gel to use in order to (hopefully) keep nasty germs at bay. I was uncertain, as in the past I've found these hand gels unpleasant. They clean your hands without requiring water, and I've used hospital ones, which tend to smell horrible. Also, recently my office building put dispensers in the lifts (again to combat swine flu) and I decided to try it one day - I got a little light-headed from the overwhelming whiff of vodka that came from the gel. So, the Carex ... Read the complete review

I bought the children's version of this hand gel for about £1.50 at Morrisons, which I thought was quite cheap. It comes in a 50ml clear plastic bottle, suitable for recycling, and has a pump for easy application. On the front of the bottle is a large Carex logo, below a picture of a penguin. This does look very appealing, especially for small children. As the bottle is clear, you can see the blue product inside, which is handy as you can see how much is left. The pump has a lid over it, meaning it doesn't leak. It is also small so good for taking around in your handbag. This hand gel is simple to use: you dispense some hand gel onto your hands, and then ... Read the complete review
