Advantages: Smoothing and soothing.
Disadvantages: Doesn't stop the ageing process!
I am always on the lookout for a decent moisturising cream, so when I was brought this as part of a miniatures gift set I was really pleased, the cream I will now review is not one I have ever heard of before receiving it, let alone tried it.
The product I will now review is - "Champneys collection, vitamiracle hand & nail cream"
The tube is the upside down variety, I do prefer these due to the fact that the product automatically falls into the base/lid, meaning there is less cream left when the tube is at the "unsqueezable" stage.
The tube is made of a reasonably thin plastic, this is essential to make the actual process of squeezing the cream out much easier.
The tube itself is clear, with the product being visible within, this is lovely pale creamy yellow, with the fact that it is very thick and emollient being very apparent.
The information on the tube states that this gives you "softer, smoother, younger looking hands instantly" and is packaged as a spa treatment.
Once you have flipped open the lid you simply squeeze a small amount into your hands.
The cream is very thick and very rich, so a small amount is all you will need. The cream smalls strongly of a mixture of cocoa butter and almond, this is a truly delicious small, and this does linger for a good hour after application.
The cream instantly soothes and smoothes the skin, I work in a profession where I have to wash my hand s at least 20 times a day, so my skin does get sore and scaly quite easily, this cream alleviates the symptoms straight away, though I have to disagree with the making my hands look younger claim!
As mentioned earlier this was part of a gift set, so to get a better idea of the price of a full sized item I looked on the Sainsbury's website - www.sainsburys.co.uk
Sainsburys have quite an extensive range of Champneys items, and all of them around the £5.00 mark.
For more information visit - www.champneys.com
This is truly fantastic hand cream, that smells delicious and is soothing and smoothing to even the scaliest of hands!
Thanks for reading x
