~Christina Aguilera Inspire Body Lotion~
I bought some Christina Aguilera Inspire body lotion a while ago and after having used it I found that I was rather pleased with its lovely light floral fragrance. I picked up the Inspire fragranced body lotion in store when it came in a set with the fragrance and shower gel from the same range, making it really good value. The Inspire fragrance used in the body lotion has a lovely feminine, floral feel to it that I find lasts a reasonable length of time once on the skin. When I used the product I found that the body lotion was easily absorbed by the skin once applied, with it leaving my skin feeling soft and nicely fragranced, with no unwanted side effects.
I rather like the bright and pretty colours used on the product tube as it instantly gave me the idea that the lotion would have a floral feminine feel to it when I first saw it. The mix of red, pink and creamy white used on the Inspire body lotion tube gives the appearance of a pretty and feminine product that I feel would suit a range of buyers. The body lotion tube is easy to handle and feels as though it has been well made in my opinion. There is a simple flip top lid fitted that I have found easy to open and close. The product lid also works as handy base on which to stand the product when it is not in use.
I have used the body lotion alongside the matching Inspire shower gel and fragrance and have found that they all work well together. I have also used the body lotion on its own and found it to give off enough fragrance for day wear, without the need to wear it alongside the fragrance from the same range. The body lotion is a floral fruity delight blending gardenia, freesia and tuberose with hints of fruity orange flower, citrus and mango. There is a musk and sandlewood base to the lotion that helps the fragrance last a little longer, although in my opinion the fragrance does fade a little more quickly than some other similar lotions I have used.
In use I have found that the Inspire body lotion is quick and easy to apply with it melting into the skin quite quickly. I have found that the lotion doesn't cause any unwanted skin irritation when in use, even though it is a scented and lightly coloured product. The texture of the lotion is fairly thin, with it feeling light and silky once in place. There is no oily residue left after having applied the product to the skin in my experience.
~Product rating/ price~
The cost of a 200ml sized tube of Christina Aguilera Inspire body lotion can be cheaper on line at around £6 to £7 a tube. The product can cost more when bought in store, although it is often included as part of a EDT/ EDP fragrance based gift set, which is very often better value than buying the product on its own. I feel that the the body lotion works well on its own, but can be used along side the matching fragrance and shower gel if wanted. My rating for this body lotion is 4 stars.
