~Christina Aguilera Inspire Shower Gel~
******************************
The Christina Aguilera Inspire shower gel is something that I bought myself as part of a really lovely gift set some time ago. Whilst I was initially drawn to the Inspire fragrance and its matching body care products due to the bright and pretty colours used on the packing, as well as the free mini clutch bag that came with the set, after having used the actual body care products and fragrance together I rather liked them. The Inspire fragrance used in the shower gel is feminine and floral and would suit a wide range of fragrance buyers of all ages in my opinion.
The product tube that the Inspire shower gel comes in is easy to handle and well made in my opinion. The flip top lid works well if used as base on which to stand the shower gel and can be flipped open with ease when dispensing a little of the gel whilst showering or washing. The colours used on the packing are pretty and bright with a modern feminine feel that I find very attractive to look at. The storage tube that the gel comes in is matched to the other products in the same range such as body lotion and fragrance and I feel they all work well and look good together.
The floral feel of the shower gel comes from tuberose and gardenia, mixed with freesia, although there are more fruity hints that spring to mind when using the shower gel such as orange flower, citrus and mango. There is a musky base to the shower gel that adds longevity but doesn't over power the florals in the fragrance in my opinion. I have tended to notice the mix of fruity florals first when using this product, although the musk and sandlewood used in the gel do come through after the initial blast of fragrance.
I have found that the shower gel lathers up well if used with a shower puff, which helps produce lots of lovely light foamy bubbles that help clean and fragrance the skin at the same time. The actual product says it is a bubble wash rather than a simple shower gel, although it isn't quite as foamy/ bubbly as some similar products (eg: the citrus scented bubble wash that comes in the turquoise packing from the Soap & Glory range). I have found that the Inspire gel cleans well and doesn't cause any unwanted skin irritation when in use, even though it is a scented product. In my opinion the gel is not at all oily, leaving skin clean and moisturised, yet never feels harsh on the skin.

The cost of a 200ml sized tube of Christina Aguilera Inspire shower gel is around £9 in larger stores, although I have seen it for sale on sites such as Amazon for closer to £6/ £7 which I feel is better value. When I bought the product it came as part of a gift set which was even better good value. As the fragrance, body lotion and shower gel work so well together I would recommend looking around for a bargain priced gift set if possible as each product layers the next and enhances the final result. I really liked this product when I used it and would buy it again at the right price. My rating for this shower gel is 4 stars.
